Yes Vicky is dead, and like I said Damon never lies. As for Damon he is not all bad, but he is a vampire and he will not change for anyone. As you watch further you will see the good sides of Damon, but it will take some time. As for Stefan he lies but he is not evil and not good either. Both brothers have good and bad sides. As I said the real story is of two brothers who sometimes hate each other but their love for each other is unbeatable. The two of them can't live without each other. The first half of the season is more of a teenage story but in the second half the real Vampire Diaries begins. I know you hate Damon and that's okay.

Yes i now. This isn't Buffy, vampires don't disappear when they die, and this isn't a spoiler. I didn't actually tell you anything you didn't need to know, because the story is very complicated and very long you will see and very good. I like your reactions and from now on I will be careful what I comment. I m sorry.

You cannot compare vampire lore from other universes (ie Buffy) to this world. Comparing vampirism in this universe to the super soldier serum is also grossly inaccurate. Being a vampire doesn't simply amplify ur personality, it tightens emotions (even more so as a newbie) and causes you to crave human blood (you know, their prey, not their equals) and imbeds a supernatural instinct to kill (along with the supernatural abilities to do so). I also find it interesting that people are able to see how toxic and unhealthy it is for Jeremy to be with Vicky and how his description of being with her is more of an emotional safety raft to keep from drowning in grief after the loss of his parents (not true love) yet noone seems to be able to see the same thing when it comes to Elena and Stefan when he is more toxic to her than Vicky is to Jeremy, and she describes her "feelings" for Stefan damn near identically. These 2 came in to the Gilbert kids lives when they were emotionally drowning and provided a toxic safety raft, the difference being Stefan was way more intentionally manipulative and aware of the situation he was coming into than Vicky. Also, just because you personally don't like someone, does not entitle you to keep their possessions from them (like how everyone thinks it's okay to not give Damon back his necklace)! On top of Elena lying to everyone to protect her liar boyfriend who brought all this danger (that they don't even get to be aware of to protect themselves) into their lives, she is actively tampering with and controlling his memories.
