Hot take on the stray cats. Totally agree, but I’d never thought of that

Les Claypool plays Carl Thompson basses, sorry bass guy here. Paul Reed Smith makes some dogshit and some really patriotic dogshit.

The first time I heard the term Butt Rock was in 1991, and my cousin told me Iron Maiden was Butt Rock. I learned quick that really it was just bad or corny metal. I think it best describes rock music that appears edgy but isnt. Music that can be consumed by kids and their parents won't hate it. I agree Journey, REO, and Foreigner would be the first butt rock bands

John Mellencamp is great, he sang scarecrow, bob sugar sang like a rock

Jeremy Logan

Mellencamp has asked republicans bot to play pink houses saying that they are getting the message wrong and that he is as left wing as you can get. He's just a radlib but still its not a patriotic anthem

Jeremy Logan

OK last defense of John cougar. Listen to the album scarecrow because it has several songs you can dig. Face of the nation, and stand for something. Stand for something eve. Gives props the the black panthers
