Welcome back to Shocktober, we have a new theme song and we have our own Jim Norton, a wonderful third mic, that's right, we have Third Mike Hale

We started the show thinking that we would cover both Greaseman and Opie but we got sidetracked talking about Pamela Anderson movies and Anthony Cumia deathwatch.

We finally got into the Grease

Theme goes hard.

Shocktober is back!

Damon

Huzzah for Shocktober

JN

Today is my last day at a job that I hate, and this is going to be one of the highlights of it.

Jenn

Hey Grease Buddy!

Andy

Did Grease move into the original YKS studio?

Instantdumbass

Up to my ears in glop. Happy shocktober 🫡

Robert

Can't get over greaseman sounding like he is in a cave

HuffingGasInTheShed

New song is objectively better, but does anyone else miss the old one? Specifically the part where you can hear a door shutting in the room the band was recording in

The Writers Room

Yeah old one was sweet. But it was lost in a fire and I had to toss something else on there!

Conicu Steele

The Manson interview was so brutally uncomfortable and funny. I sat there speechless for a good few minutes when Manson gave his libertarian call to action and Bryan just abruptly ends the episode.

Daniel Stern

First Chris trolls the classic rock guys on here by saying "deep purple has one song" and then does this intro. Master of the form

aw

GREASEMAN x BITA JOUDAKI let’s get it done

jake noble

There's another universe out there where the Greaseman became an incredible voice actor for instructional VHS tapes

This was a great way to end the week. The new theme is perfect, and Grease was especially putrid. His response to the guy calling to order pizza (“I spell my name danger”) was lifted from an old Firesign Theatre record.

LAKE R▲DIO

Youre not lookin’ too good, Grease buddy.

Minnesota_Cold

Oh I actually thought they had Jim Norton for a second and my brain stalled

Steve D

In the 90s-2000s I used to listen to a lot of Stern and other jocks and I never considered the possibility that the callers were fake, but I also never considered that they were real.

ROD F

Shock jocks are the ultimate guys

Slappydappie on twitch

I know it sounds over the top & pretty kiss ass, but when these 3 get together, it's possibly the funniest content ever made. Every single time it's just next level. Hope we have a bunch more in the future. Thanks DB, Chris & Bryan.

Jeremiah McDonald

I recognized one of the production music tracks used by Grease man for one of his awful songs (it’s “Experimental Kitchen” from Cheap Radio Thrills vol 3)

RG13

Let the record reflect.

Brynn Denney

The Estelle song took me to a very dark place

Hunter Manning

I desperately need that interview pretty please!!!

ActiveUP Games

The greaseman may be the grossest sounding person I've ever heard

Red

They absolutely teach “radio voice” in broadcasting-degree programs.

DB Parenti

Greatest 3-man combo ever.
