I remember somehow seeing the footage of The Moody Blues being inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame and their singer being almost embarrassed to thank Mancow for his endorsement.

They kicked him out because of Melvoin’s death. Chamberlain and Melvoin were doing drugs together. I only remember this because I have a distinct memory of my mom telling me, in a serious tone, “the Smashing Pumpkins’ keyboardist died.” All I could say was “I don’t think they have a keyboardist.” Turns out Melvoin was a touring member.

Ron Onesti's biggest claim to fame is owning the Arcada Theater (not Arcana, that's a flub) it's the type of venue where a band that was huge in the 60s would have their like one surviving member play or like a regional touring Pink Floyd tribute act. I've been to some decent shows there but none of them were improved by Ron getting on the stage to introduce the band.
