Guys+ is back with a really fun episode

We talked a bit about our christmas and then we went right to Michael Noland's video of 100 artists not in the Rock and Roll Hallof Fame and then we went full-noland. Next we had noland talking about prog rock, and it is one of my favorite Noland clips ever.

Loss Prevention Guys make a very funny return and to round it out we looked at what swingers do about post nut clarity

I zoned out for a couple of minutes and thought it was the guys bringing their own bowling balls to work parties getting the death threats

Stephen David Miller

I spent a few horrifying minutes trying to imagine what a swinger couple means by “play fist” before realizing it was probably a #flub on the phrase “play first”

Welcome to nuys plus, a podcast about nuys: a podcast about nuys

y'all stumbled upon a deep truth - bowling alleys actually do have lockers for you to store your balls and shoes in

Question Kyle

Chris’ misuse of sycophant is a little flub Easter egg for the pedantic fans.

saying you're into "rock and roll" is a thing guys like Nolan and 38 year olds with dangly cross earrings and a coke problem both say

JKL

I’m a Prog rock guy, and I know Scott from The Prog Corner! He’s insufferable!

Every member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young has been inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame twice. Crosby, Stills, and Nash are in the Rock and Roll hall of fame as a group , David Crosby is in with The Byrds, Steven Stills and Neil Young are in with Buffalo Springfield, Graham Nash is in with The Hollies, and Neil Young is in as a solo artist, so I know this is shocking, and I haven't looked up the other 99 artists who have been "snubbed", but I think Noland might be being a little dishonest and nitpicky with that list.

I would enjoy working with Michael Noland. If I’m at an office event I’m looking for the guy who will argue with me about the comparative influence of Richie Blackmore and Roger McGuinn

Chris, I know what you mean about crying during movies. For some reason, Everything, Everywhere, All at Once really got me when I saw it. It's just a really beautiful story told in a crazy audacious way. Art is pretty dang cool.

Years ago I went to a work bowling party with a bowling guy who brought his whole arsenal. Wrist protector and all. The key to his success was one, he started off well liked. And two, he taught us all how to bowl and get the spin and all. In that moment we were all bowling guy. I bowled the best game of my life

Bryan, if you want to do some research for “Pipe Guys,” check out these forums: https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/ (For example there’s a thread now, “Ruminations on the Taste of Corn Cob Pipes,”) And of course r/pipe tobacco. And check out the YouTubers Mutt’n Chop Piper and Briar Blues. There’s a wealth of stuff and it’s pretty funny!

JKL

Are you guys going to do Disney World Guys? Maybe that’s too obvious…

JKL

The first time my wife was pregnant I cried at everything, notably the end of Mighty Joe Young.

Chris the Friend

Chris, what you were thinking of is called Stendhal Syndrome.

I'm late but this list triggered me lol -- Allman Bros band Bon Jovi Brian Eno is in with Roxy Music (he should be in as a producer too but that's me) Phil Collins is in with Genesis Ace Frehly is in with Kiss... (Why doesn't this guy know this, it was a big deal) (Hagar and Henley are in with their respective groups) Annie Lennox is in with the Eurythmics Ozzy is in with Black Sabbath Iggy Pop is in with the Stooges David Lee roth is in there with VH (that was a pretty big deal too) Joe Walsh is in with the Eagles Steve Winwood is in with Traffic And Rush is in, so there's a win for the Canadians.

I was 8 years old and I watched a TV halloween movie called The Midnight Hour and when the protagonist had to say goodbye to the one good undead person to send the bad ones back to hell, I had to sit on our stairs and cry.

great to stumble upon the birth of the tostada drop when perusing through the back logs!
