Hey producers!

Wanted to hand out this Mixing Rack that I use for all my mixdowns.

Basically it has 2 free to download plugins, then some stock effects and macros.  SPAN: Spectrum Analyzer YouLean Loudness Meter: Metering LUFS and peak volume EQ: filtering Utility: checking in MONO Limiter: to check how it will sound when limited (I recommend around -5db gain reduction for reference)

MACROS: Null: EQ is not applying anything Ear Save: I have this on when writing music to save my ears from getting tired, not used for mixing generally Low Pass: Filtering the high end so you can focus on the high balance of your mix High Pass: Filtering the high and mid to really focus on your low end Band Pass: Filtering low and high to hear only the mids

With the Ear Save... I was kind of expecting the volume to be lower than Null. How does it help save your ears as setup?

Because it's lowering the low frequencies and the really high frequencies. This saves your ears from getting tired as fast, and after maybe 10-20 seconds you won't even realize the freqs are gone and you'll get used to it. :)
