Your coloured pencil work is fascinating to me as I've got some recently but struggling to make it "work" for me. Do you use very light pressure and layer the colours, or varied amount of pressure? I find all my coloured pencil work to be kind of same-y and it's hard to make anything stand out sharply. If I use too much pressure the pencils will burnish and go shiny, so really interested to know how you do it! :)

Yes, I do use lighter pressure and build up the layers. This allows me to mix colours together and also build up little by little to make it easier for me to not to make mistakes. The pencils I use are very soft, I think it’s the best for this method. I also try to mainly use only primary colours and avoid earthy and muddy tones, hope this helped!
