This is my first test with the Arteza watercolours. I still want to try them again, as this is a test painting. Overall my first impressions for those of you interested are:

• Very interesting selection of colours, it will help you figure out your favourite pigments regardless of your style.
• Very affordable.
• Very easy to work with.
• I'd categorize them as student grade, so I would recommend to someone starting out but not to someone with experience already.
• They don't give you interesting textures, which can be helpful if you are starting out and don't want to get frustrated, but you'll never get a professional finish.
• I personally find them a bit chalky for my taste.
