XXXIV October 2022 Progress Update! (Patreon)

Hey again guys!

A brief Pure Onyx update before we begin! For this month's PO release we'll be adding the Bunny Girl enemies to the game.  We're currently working on AI for their attacks and polishing their animations.  We're also increasing the vertical movement speed of characters -- something we've been looking at for a while but hadn't gotten around to.  Expect the full list in the PO progress update later this month :D.  

As for XXXIV, we have new progress to show on both the Tifa and Olga content, so I'll get into that!

Shinra Boi Rigged!

TK has completed our Shinra soldier's low poly + rig (mostly -- still have his face rig to do), and we've begun working on the first Tifa scene animations!  

Here's one of the early poses that Gifdoozer and Penapsquat worked on :D.

Olga Materials in Unity

We've finished Olga's textures and cel shaded materials, and have gotten her set up in Unity! TK is now working on Olga's rig after having been focused on the Shinra soldier and a bunch of fixes for Pure Onyx's male cop.

Olga First Scene Sketches

Xxoom finished some storyboard sketches for the first Olga scene!  If you haven't guessed already, it will be a scene with the Orcs from the anime. 

Since her environment will be her throne room, we're considering doing a scene utilizing the throne itself :D. 

Orc Sculpt Complete!

Kame has completed the Orc sculpt for Olga's content!  This is the final character we need to complete both Olga and Tifa's first scenes :D.  

TK will likely begin rigging him after he finishes Olga.
