I realized the other day that I had kept using the Mistborn logo for the past few episodes, but that I had made a specifically Wax & Wayne logo for this series way back when. So here we are.

These chapters are the ones where we discover that the "community" is this bizarre bunker where all the kidnap victims from a few books ago have been kept for years, all while being told that the world on the surface has ended. Also, Miles and I have a heart to heart about this series, and I request everyone's feedback because I'm genuinely not sure what to do.

Thanks so much to you all for listening, and we will see you in two weeks with a new episode!

I know these comments might not get read, but I have a hard time with Discord so I’m gonna keep doing it, sorry. Re: continuing Mistborn in the face of lukewarm Natasha reaction. I’m reading the series for the first time along with y’all. I think it’s interesting and often fun, but has never gotten me super invested. I do think it brings up a lot of good discussion points regarding the characters, the world, and the themes/philosophical concepts. Hearing y’all’s takes on those things is generally fun. However, this is true for other series, and it does get get old hearing about how uninteresting things are repeatedly. Sookie had some “hate read” sections, but that series is way more messy and colorful so it’s more fun to hate on. I’m definitely not attached to Mistborn enough that I wouldn’t prefer y’all cover something that you are more engaged with. Natasha forcing herself to suffer through something is not that fun.
