This gorgeous illustration of Haymitch and Ampert is by aeshsar on tumblr and you can see their feed here! https://www.tumgik.com/aeshsar

These chapters are the ones where Haymitch futiley struggles to keep Lou Lou's body from the hovercraft right before Ampert is taken by the Capitol, and RoShawn is starting to think that maybe Suzanne Collins needs to be stopped. I can't help but agree.

Thanks so much to you for listening, and we will see you soon with a new episode!

This version of The Hanging Tree is done by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and is sung by Andrea Lykke Oehlenschlæger & Diluckshan Jeyaratnam. You can watch the video here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrxwS3jukf8

I didn't think that only bones remaining of Ampert was funny at all! But I have to admit that it took me out of the moment for a second. Because I really think that there should be some scrabs of meat/ sinew etc. left on the bones since it feels kinda impossible to me to gnaw a bone completely bare (even though it might be possible, I'm by no means an expert in this field🙈😅). And I have to say that I would have found the image of a half eaten corps that's still somewhat recognizable even more disgusting and haunting than a cleanly gnawed of skeleton (which kinda feels "clinical" or "sterile" to me)...but that's propably just personal "preference"🤷‍♂️😅

Responding to Natasha and Roshawn talking about Haymitch tying himself to the ladder in the torrent of water: if he's being pushed and thrown around in the 'river' Hay can smack into unseen obstacles & die or be injured, or be swept into a place where he can't surface & just drown.
