Thank you so much to Kimberly for suggesting this book and for joining me on this episode! And also, thank you to everyone who voted for this book in the poll and hung out with us in the chat while we were live!

I hope you all enjoy the episode, and I will see you in September for the next installment of the Book Club, and if you're a SuperSpoiled level Patron keep your eyes peeled for the next poll!

The other books have that discussion you were looking for about how terrible the results and actions are, and honestly for me those books are the true gems of this series. The first book is just the necessary homework you have to endure to get to those ones. I think Miles would definitely agree that Xenocide and Speaker for the Dead are superior works and have a superior dialogue on the subject of morality and the lenses we see things through in society.
