I'm really struggling with finding new Dresden Files artwork my friends, so if you've got something good that I haven't already used, let me know!

These chapters are the ones where Bock comes to see Harry about some local harassment, Ilyana comes to see Harry to BE some local harassment, and Harry has a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Carpenter family, thanks to Maggie & Mouse.

Thanks so much to you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Loving this book! Loved these chapters! So many thoughts! 1. When Fitz apologized for not being able to use magic in the fight, my gut reaction was “Wait was there something suppressing Magic that night, and that’s why Harry also couldn’t do anything??” I don’t actually think it’s true because the grief explanation is totally solid, but if I’m right, then I totally called it 😂 2. Regarding types of magic: I don’t think they’ve referred to individual wizards as “enchanter”, or “diviner”, or “evocator” before, but definitely have seen all these forms of magic and know that certain individuals are especially gifted in certain forms, like Molly being good at illusions. Also, with Harry, I’d argue his non-evocation magical feats have often been more impressive and useful than you’re everyday Forzare. You’ve got the potions from the early books (charms or enchantments?), mini-Chicago (divination), the building-wide surveillance thing he did with putty in Proven Guilty (enchantment/divination), animating Sue (necromancy), and binding Demonreach (????). Oh not to mention the thing that back in the day gave him his biggest edge over other wizards: his knowledge of The Ways through Fae. 3. This is too long already, suffice it to say, Michael is the GOAT, and if someone looked me in the eye and said “I swear on my God and my children that you deserve more than you give yourself,” I would cry like a baby past his bedtime.
