IT'S TIME TO CUSTOMIZE!

We've got ourselves a female wolf! Now, it's time to figure out what they look like, where they come from, and how they'll survive out in Wyldon!

Want to help customize them? In a comment below, make sure to include:1) What Background the character should have.2) A physical description of what they wear and look like.3) Name suggestions!

Or, you can see what comments people have already left and leave a heart on any that you agree with! :)

BACKGROUNDS

How did she end up the leader of an adventuring party? Why does she go on this quest?

1. SCHOLAR

Be it an archaeologist or researcher of the threats currently afflicting Wyldon, you have fallen into this line of work as a byproduct of your studies.

Perhaps the party was funded by a grant from your academy. Perhaps you use your family's wealth to supply them. Regardless, field research is integral to your work, and you are willing to risk life and limb to attain it.

Buff: Strong-Minded. You are resistant to all curses/spells that brainwash or hypnotize you.

Party Buff: Well-Read. +2 to all Intellect rolls when trying to discern information about a location or monster integral to a quest/job. All party members benefit from this buff.

2. DISGRACED NOBILITY

With the anarchy in Wyldon, the aristocrats have suffered just as much as anyone else. This Greed Witch's wrath has forced you from your place upon the throne. As such, you've had to seek solutions yourself.

While doing the dirty work personally is hardly your favourite way to handle matters, you see no other choice. You've used the last of your family's wealth to assemble an adventuring team in order to help you put a stop to this witch's rampage.

Buff: Bon Vivant. The more Gold your party has, the easier it becomes to succeed Gluttony, Greed, and Luck rolls.

Party Buff: Rags to Riches. All Gold found from looting, searching, and bargaining is slightly increased. All party members benefit from this buff.

3. ARCHNEMESIS

This isn't the first time you've witnessed the dark dealings of the Greed Witch. While Wyldon may only have known of her for a short while, you dealt with her long ago. And it wasn't exactly a pleasant conversation. After that, you'd hoped you'd never have to return to the world of adventuring, but... well, no rest for the weary.

You've dedicated everything to hunting down the Greed Witch and putting an end to her once and for all. If anyone's going to see that witch slain, it'll be you. Even if it means having to travel with these rookies just to get it done.

Buff: Veteran of Greed. You are resistant to the consequences of Greed, Lust, and Gluttony.

Party Buff: Ever-Cautious. Your party is slightly less likely to trigger hidden traps. All party members benefit from this buff.

4. ASPIRING HERO

If you're honest with yourself, it's not the Greed Witch that you care about. It's the adventure. The journey. Ever since you were a pup, you dreamed of charging head-on into the fray with a group of warriors behind you and carving out your path of heroic glory for all to see.

Granted, this party you've assembled is... a little unorthodox. But still, gotta start somewhere, right? The Greed Witch has finally given you the perfect opportunity to chase your dream. And so, you've dedicated everything you have to not letting this moment slip from you.

Buff: Rookie Spirit. The more you fail a type of roll, the easier that roll will be to succeed in the future.

Party Buff: Determination. Your party's will is unbreakable. Anyone who is in a critical state (Heavily injured, ready to burst, overstressed, etc.) can withstand it a bit longer before falling unconscious or dying. All party members benefit from this buff.

5. THE CHOSEN ONE

Fate is a funny thing. When the world is at it's worst, it always seems like some long-lost prophecy happens to pop up at just the right time to declare that a "destined hero will arise from the chaos to save this world". That's not just a broad statement, that's actually what your prophecy said.

You have no idea how you got here. Hell, you barely even know who the Greed Witch is. But when you walked into town, those strange prophets practically jumped you. They kept INSISTING that you had to be the prophesized hero that would stop her. And, well, they paid for your meal, and pretty much put the whole team together for you.

Plus, you DO live on this planet. If it's destroyed, that would kinda suck for you, honestly. So, yeah. You guess you could try to stop her. You didn't have much other plans this month anyway.

Buff: Destined Path. You are resistant to your movement being impeded or slowed down when you are traveling North towards the Greed Witch.

Party Buff: Not the Main Character. Any time you lose a party member, a portion of their XP is given to all of your remaining party. All party members benefit from this buff.

6. CRIMINAL

After what you've done, there wasn't much left for you anyway in the old Wyldon. In truth, it's almost a relief to watch it all fall to anarchy. But... something inside you has changed since then. Maybe you've been in hiding for too long. Maybe it's time for a fresh start.

Perhaps if some lousy, low-life criminal like you can make something of themselves by taking out this witch that's threatening the whole realm... well, maybe there's a chance for your name to be remembered fondly in history. Maybe even scum like you can be looked up to.

You've put together a party of folks with their own regrets. Maybe you all might just get along.

Buff: Self Preservation. In dangerous situations, it is easier for you to succeed any roll that allows you to push a party member into that danger to keep yourself safe.

Party Buff: Out of Sight. Your party has an easier time succeeding any roll that revolves around hiding, staying hidden, or sneakily performing an action. All party members benefit from this buff.

Criminal. Cuz hood 🗿

BigPen

I like the disgraced nobility, Chelsea, or Rachel has a good ring to it. As for clothes maybe a tattered noble dress, or a makeshift adventurers garb made from her one pretty dress. Personality wise why not make her a bit of a brat, but also naive when it comes to adventuring. Possibly angry that the witch has made her a cast out

Jacob Aldrete

I personally like Disgraced Nobility. She would wear a blue lace dress with a tiara and necklace with a pink gem in it. Her name would be Beatrice. Also I could see her having a personality like Darkness from Konosuba.

Dango

Background 1 (scholar). Clothing: a headmistress style black dress and with built in corset. Name: Julia

Reavernaut

Bandit, and I really like the outfit you did for Mocha, so why not that one? Personality wise she would do anything for gold, even if it means her teammates got a “little” bigger to warrant it, though she wouldn’t want them popped for it… unless it was a LOT of gold.

CoffeHybrid

It would be cool to see one with mane/wolf fur around the neck with bigger ears 👀✨. Awesome stuff I'm highly exited to see how it's coming along this project!

TheKamiKaze1337

I'd like to see Disgraced Noble or Aspiring Hero. And they could have a historical reference name like Cleo, Eleanor, Boudica, or Theodora. For body, she could start out with some chub already on her as a lazy noble used to being indulged, or perhaps big and buff from training to prepare for this quest.

Warren Fornaro

Ooo! The Archnemesis background seems like it would be interesting. Especially since there would be someone that knows how the Greed Witch operates and has insight to their plots and schemes.

ShoreMcLoving

I like the chosen one. Mainly because I like the idea that if our snake companion eats one of our party members, we get their exp as a bonus. Speccing into vore sounds fun. I also haven't seen a chosen one archetype really described like this. I like the nanchalant nature of it.

Andrew Cox

Disgraced nobility. Rude brat getting a ruder awakening. Predictably I'm going yo say hourglass or top heavy for shape, and she should naga laugh, it's only right.

TheUnknown

Archnemisis fits a Wolfy character the most and is gives the most reasoning and a good narrative for the motivation for your quest. And it also seems the most Antihero-esque which im fond of. A good old long time rivalry/grudge that needs to be settled for once and for all. As for armor design I think given her eyepatch and combat veterancy that having her having armor akin to that of the Man-At-Arms from Darkest Dungeon would be a good choice. Of course the armor would have to be modified for a more feminine and wolfy body but I think it would work. As for body type, I think going for a muscled hourglass body would work best and make most sense for the Archnemisis background. (Plus its more fun seeing buff girls become fatsos lol) As for names? Well im not good with names so I got nothing lol. I have faith the others would come up with something good.

Zraraa

Aspiring Hero. For the appearance, how about the Norse design of Wolf Clan heroes from Armello game? I would suggest Ylva or Freya as a name.

Marrowave

To vote for something that exists, I don't prefer it but the Aspiring hero sounds like the best buffs to progress through a lot of difficult checks. The archnemisis would be second to designs, and abilities. As for a new character? Mad Scientist/Alchemist. It might be cool to have buffs you can mix, giving the party different kinks that are temporary for buffs, as well as yourself. You could even drink a potion to make yourself the big bad wolf almost like an ultimate. They'd have maybe torn or soiled with potions clothing, but either a cliche lab coat or leather scholar garbs. As for a name? Idk having something silly and sweet would be funny she's this nice scientist but then has her big bad wolf alter ego share the same name. Like "VERONICA WENT BEAST MODE" or "BUTTERCUPS TIME TO STRIKE" just seems fun to have

Rev

I'll throw in a Chosen One, wearing a hodgepodge of armor collected on her travels, wielding a two handed sword. Maybe "Freki" (or something derrived from it) for a name. That party buff sounds pretty good in case we chew through party members... (Criminal has a pretty fun buff too, so it's hard to pick)

Englishhutt

I like the aspiring hero! The idea of even if a party member is about to burst they can still get a little bigger is thrilling.

Bayarge

Aspiring Hero all the way.

Gravityshock

Okay going Aspiring Hero, she'd probably be wearing loose and mismatched leather armor to keep her going as a starter hero...as for name maybe Edna or something like that?

MforMetropolis

1) Scholar - one who's regular studies were interrupted by the collapse of Wyldon, but who's field is still invaluable to the quest, hence why she rose to the occasion. Her disposition towards the other is a mixture of appreciation and respect for their respective skills and knowledge (which only grows over the course of the quest), and a mild disdain towards their lack of academic knowledge that she THINKS is well-known enough to be common knowledge (that diminishes over time, though never fully vanishes). Her primary focus has shifted towards studying Greed, both to learn how to vanquish it, and because of a growing fascination with her powers. If push comes to shove, she isn't above making sacrifices for her field study, be it some random bystander they could've saved, her teammates, or even herself - however, she would never go as far as to let someone burst or be otherwise at risk of death. 2) A sagum worn over the shoulders, leaving the dominant hand free on one side and covering up the other, wearing a şalvar or harem pants for bottoms, head adorned by scholar's cap (not the square academic one, the older, 16th century one), and perhaps a satchel or courier bag worn on the side of the dominant hand. She's neither muscular nor chubby, given the slim finances of a scholar, but she would have a propensity to gain weight, due to her previously sedentary lifestyle, while also still having the energy of a young adult. 3) Camara - a name of African origins, meaning "teacher". Common in Sierra Leone as "Kamara", resembles the Hungarian word "kamara" meaning "chamber" (as in "chamber music" or "chamber of commerce", i.e. something associated with dignity

Mr Mindless

I'll throw my vote for the scholar as I do tend to like player characters who aren't the main focus. As for appearance, I'd say anything that involves a nice cloak.

Clinko Clinko

oh id vote for disgraced nobility personally eheh

K

I love the idea of an aspiring hero who's like, totally in it for the fetishy nonsense armour as light and skimpy as they could get it, running headfirst into danger bc they're actually just stupidly horny for these scenarios but it does make them look like a brave and fearless hero sometimes body type, i'm down for pretty much anything busty- something topheavy would get my vote idk about names, maybe something like Laika since she's a wolf? (similar to lycan, Laika was a famous dog name)

Rev

"Some of you may pop, but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make"

TastyBot

I vote for the noble.

JorkRod

The disgraced nobility is a must for me

Ulvrik

I do confess I would love to see either the Aspiring hero or the Degraced nobility as the roleplay part in the group would be absolutely fun to see ^^

Bobbzo

Disgraced nobility seems to have really good buffs, so lets go with them

Scooter Tahusky

I would suggest Aspiring Hero, wearing form fitting light chainmail or studded leather armor, with a sturdy kite shield, and a simple but reliable broadsword. Also perhaps a blue or red scarf or hooded cloak. As for a name; Lily seems simple enough.

NeonRays

Really love the disgraced nobility
