Plans for the future (Patreon)

Hi Explorers!

We want to share with you some plans for the future of the patreon. 

In the next months we have planned to give you the option to choose theme for the releases, but in order to mantain the date of the teaser around the day 20 of each month, we have to do the poll with two months of anticipation, to ensure that we have enough time to prepare and polish everything.

We have done the bigger part of the job of the next two releases, June and July, so we could tell these two months are almost closed. August would be the first month in which the release would have been chosen by you. For this, in June we'll do a poll to decide it (two months before).

We hope our decisions please you and, as always, we want to hear your opinion.

We also attach an image of some figures from next month release.

Sounds great. Can you give us an hint about what kind of theme will it be? Is it based on races (humans, orcs etc) or is it more like "theme"theme (wasteland/survivors, fantasy, sci fi etc)

Polls aren't all they are cracked up to be usually with a poll with 4-5 choices the winner only gets 30-40 percent of the vote which means 60-70 percent of the people lose. also variety is the spice of life I like that you are mixing it up every month. I am a RPG player/painter that is my interest and the reason I like your patreon please don't go to pleasing the wargamers and making armies for them Their are many great Patreons out their for people who want armies I want great looking characters not an army of orcs goblins etc.

I like polls, thats how most of my other patreon's function. Its the easiest way to get an idea of what people would like! All for it! Also these minis look amazing!

This Patreon has been fantastic for heroes and villains. Of the dozen or so Patreons I subscribe to this is the one I most look forward to for those kinds of sculpts. I hope that doesn't change after moving to themed releases.

Downside of themes or armies is that it can be months between releases that appeal or that people have use for. A small themed group of interconnected minis (say a trio of similarly dressed troops of some kind) within the larger monthly release could work well. It leaves room for completely unrelated minis, in case the squad of the month doesn't do it for some subscribers.

Any plan to add somtething modular? Like alt head for heroes or alt accessories

How about some casulaties or "dead" markers? I'm not really a fan of placing minis on their side to indicate injured or deceased (and removing them from the board early doesn't feel right). Generic rather than character models would suffice (if they're faced down, the same mini could be used many times on the board to stand in for different characters).
