So, so, so many recommendations this month. Thank you to everyone for commenting and liking, I am putting all of them, you can vote for multiple movies but there will be only one winner this time.

Please do remember that if your favorite didn't win you can recommend again and it will be in the next poll. There are just so many great movies I have not watched and I want to give them all a chance.

American Werewolf in London is my all-time favorite movie, and The Thing is a close second!

Ah, have you already seen Jojo Rabbit?

Ana Colli

Yes I have, an absolute gem. I can do a rewatch if you are all interested.

Kirk Lazarus?

Alice Flagg

The Prestige is one of those movies that I haven't seen in a while but I remember really liking.

Will

Well, I would be!

As a general rule, I'm against re-watches. Given that you only watch one movie a month? Strong "no" to re-watches.

Eric

I think Nolan is overrated, or at least not for me, but he's worth talking about (unlike, say, Snyder or JJ Abrams, he's very talented). To me, "Memento" is far and away the most worthy Nolan movie because it's so singular and brilliant; I can't think of anything like it. But "The Prestige" might be his best. So... I'm not against it. None of the movies I recommended are on this list, so no matter what I have to settle for a 2nd tier movie. I lean towards some of the comedies on here (I voted "The Other Guys", but "Tropic Thunder" or "21 Jump Street" would be fine by me). But "The Prestige" certainly wouldn't disappoint me. I'd put it in the same category with "Usual Suspects", "Good Will Hunting"... "Out of Sight" is in the same tier, to me, as all the others. I'd probably go "Out of Sight" if I'm choosing a non-comedy, but "The Prestige" is maybe a little less obvious than the other 2. (But, you know... "obvious" isn't necessarily a bad thing. They're overplayed, but they're overplayed for a reason: they're very good and influential, cinematically and pop culturally.)

Will

I only mean if it was a bonus sometime, not as 'movie of the month'.
