Demian feels a mixture of guilt for knowing how badly he hurt Eiji in the past and the impact he made on his life, but also hatred because of what he just did to Izumi (even though he's not sure yet what happened, he's now certain it was Eiji's fault). It's a very complicate feeling to deal with.

Obviously the author knows why Eiji did what he did, but here’s my input; obviously Eiji is extremely manipulative, if he is this bad after all these years of “changing” and “getting better” then who knows how bad their relationship was. To me it feels like Eiji changed his life because he also loves music too, I doubt he did it all for Demien, who he didn’t know he’d ever see again anyway. I think when he saw Demien again, all his feelings from his past rushed back up and he couldn’t accept that his past lover now has a new one he’s much happier with. I’m sure Eiji wonders why he’s not good enough, so he tried to make Izumi “dirty” to make himself look better. But that’s just how Eiji is, he can’t accept his own flaws and issues so he has to push them on to someone else. If you truly love someone, you should wish their happiness above all else, even if it’s not with you. I don’t think Eiji loves Demien the way he should or thinks he does, he seems more obsessive than anything. I hope he can see how they could’ve never had a happy relationship and move on. I know Demien feels guilty, but I hope he realizes that he’s only responsible for his actions, not other people’s reactions to them. It’s not his fault Eiji feels this way, because Demien did what he should’ve done, left an unhealthy toxic relationship. Nonetheless, I hope we don’t have to see much more of Eiji. I want Demien and Izumi to talk and explain their sides and how they really feel and why. This was a big blow to all of them, it can’t just go back to “normal fluffy stuff” right away, it’ll take time. But I know they’ll grow above this as lovers, and be stronger than ever before.

Okay, I’m crying. I hope Akizumi and Demian talk properly about this and I hope Eiji finally be able to move on… Nothing in the world can justify his actions and that’s why I think Demian will quit the job and never talk to him ever again.
