Longer update this time because I thought these pages read best together. If you go back to the end of chapter 7, you can understand better the state of mind Ragnar is in when Todd finds him bleeding on the grass. He had run away from his home to never return and just collapsed somewhere close to where Nazka and Todd usually were, completely depressed and feeling like a horrible person for hurting both Axel and Lars. When Nazka jokes about kissing him to wake him up he replies "don't you even dare" because at that point Ragnar is so done with everything "physical" related and he doesn't even want to hear about it. Also, now you can see better how Todd, being the naive fox he is, actually saved Ragnar's life (his mental health) by giving him a new purpose.
