This episode is so hype, the unknown mystery behind Stan and the author of the journals is very intense and troubling. But the reveal at the end~! It's great. X3 As for other series, I definitely recommend DuckTales 2017, the Owl House, or Over the Garden Wall if you want to continue with a series similar to Gravity Falls while still being its own.

Just for clarification, Stan isn't their uncle, he's their great uncle (grunkle) so he's a sibling of one of their grandparents
