alright, first off, if you go to 10:42, close your eyes and listen, you will recognize the voice actor LOL (hint: food, women) 2nd. The first family (mom and daughter) were not his sister. Towards the end they showed a similar shot again, but this time it was the sister. Looked so similar, I never noticed it

Michael H

I loved it, then hated it, then was meh about it, then dropped it, but I’m here for it!

Bogdan Khorkov

The first seasons are really cool but after the second or third you can drop it I think :)

Coolyo8901

People over hate on sao so much. It’s a great series that gets better and better

Ciego

Imagine if Miyazaki pulled this in a FROMsoft mmo, prob be 10k dead before the whole GM announcement happened lol.

Mr Evol

The first time I heard "if you die in the game you die in real life" was in the marketing campaign for the 2006 film Stay Alive, though SAO may be the first time the concept was mixed with Isekai.

Hhound42

I'm waiting for the second season of the spin off "Gun Gale" so this works a a tune up. We'll see how it progresses.

Sekki

so ready for this journey

Cloud Kitsune

For me, I thought the first couple eps of SAO were fine, but it dropped pretty quickly for me and I never bothered with the other seasons. XD I was also a bit harsh on it thanks to how often it would get named drop as a unique isekai, when really, .hack// did it first, and neither are actually isekai. But I do hope you guys enjoy it~!

SirSkyRage

a bunch of girls turning out to be grown ass men is so accurate

I've heard of .hack before but never looked into it, is it SAO before SAO essentially?

Eli Gamarra

Seeing that this future version of humanity was in 2022 makes me feel so old. This first half of season 1 has one of the most iconic anime openings of all time.

Eli Gamarra

Also I don’t know if it’s possible but if you can, you’ve totally got to react to the first half of the abridged version of season 1. Funniest shit ever

rogueknight

Just joined Patreon because I saw you were giving SAO a chance! Thanks for watching! I'm of the opinion this show gets too much hate, and I'm glad you are willing to watch. While a fan I do agree the later seasons are the best the show has to offer so I look forward to following along on your journey. Thanks!

Ruukasu97

imo the best parts are the first arc and the 3 movies

Ruukasu97

i get why people call it an isekai but i disagree, its just a realistic game. you can just log out and youre back to the real world

Ruukasu97

Ruukasu97
