F*** I WAS A SECOND LATE FOR PEAAAAAAK After watching edit: God, I remember watching this when it came out, and I can say with 1000% certainty that this will always make me feel a joyfulness that comes from the very depths of my soul. It's been so much fun watching 1000 episodes with you guys, probably my favorite One Piece reactions of all, and I'm so excited to keep watching with you. New weekly episodes start again next week, so there's gonna be a lot more for you to catch up on. Episode 1000 is great, but in 15 episodes, you reach 1015, the REAL star episode and the adaptation of Chapter 1000, formally known in the community as Roof Piece. Prepare your souls, for any expectations you hold will be completely surpassed. Thanks and... TO BE CONTINUED

This is a moment in history🥳🥳

Wooo! Been watching with you guys since Water 7! Can't believe you guys are at ep 1000! Also since you asked, modern anime usually cover around 2-3 chapters of a manga per episode, sometimes more. So if One Piece had a more modern typical pacing, ep 1000 would actually be about ep 400 🤔 or something like that.

Sekki

Started this journey with you on Youtube from episode 1 and switched to patreon at Long ring long land arc(still underated arc) and now we are at episode 1000...thanks for everything guys. Lets go for another 1000 episodes

The Strawhatbranz

Congratulations on making it to episode 1000! Definitely a special episode indeed. I remember coming across your guys reactions on YouTube reacting to one piece and that’s what brought me over to your guys patreon. I have enjoyed your guys journey to this point a lot and I can’t wait until you guys are caught up and watching it weekly with us!

Jongoe

I remember you reacting to the openings and even when it was being recommended on here being like "1000 episodes? We could never". What a journey. Also, you really should rewatch all the openings when you are caught up :D

Pht0m(Alex)

Episode 1000! Thank you guys for the journey, was here from Arlong Park it’s been two years already huh. Let’s keep it going guys, more peak awaits. Side note, you guys might be joking but Luffy knew Sanji was fine because of his observational Haki and they also showed a moment last episode of Luffy worrying to knowing Sanji is fine by showing his expression change.

No second episode? 1000 is just a 20 minute filler episode of title cards with a sick op. We need to get to the actual Chapter 1000 on episode 1015 asap.

Sekki

Fishman Island Arc remaster was cut down to 21 episodes. Original Fishman Island Arc has, if i am not mistaken, 51 eps, so they cut out 30 episodes...kinda. The pacing is really fast, sometimes even too fast imo

Tristan

LETS GOO 1000! Been here since ep 1 and even way before that with you guys reacting to openings and boruto😭 . Its been a journey with you guys. Can’t wait for 1015!

rougezapato

This ep really solidifies this journey and super glad y’all made it this far! ALSO I got an idea. It would be dope to see your reaction to the older video you put out years ago! (When y’all first saw all the one piece openings at the time. On May 5th 2021) It’s a lil meta, but y’all reacting to what you previously thought about one piece, before actually watching the show, could be a cool reflection. EDIT: Fuck it. That original vid is what put me on to y’all’s channel and I’ll hop on goat tier for it! 😅👍 2nd EDIT: or not because it’s sold out 🤦‍♂️ my bad

GengarSlayer

Now lets get to Roof Piece. I have been watching since water Seven <3

That is actually crazy pacing difference😭 still would be over 7 years of weekly eps

SuperCookie 23

JOSH DIDDY IS COOKING ON THE BULLS THOUGH

Drakojin

No, thank YOU tgl for all the good time!

Matt

As a Sacramento resident and Kings fan, I did not expect to start this video getting cooked by Brits 😅 Lol congrats on ep 1000 fellas, hyped for the rest of this arc

Orange cookies

Crazy glazing if they only did luffy and Zoro flashbacks… much earned glaze🥱

Big Duval

Love the basketball talk in the beginning of the episode. You two should start a basketball podcast. That would be awesome.

Sascha

Still remember watching u when the Strawhats finally reached the grandline and how u guys were hyped and hypothesized what might come in the future. Meanwhile all I could think of was, damn they have it soooo good, to still have the experiences of all these amazing fights, arc, story reveals, characters, islands, history ect. in front of them, I even envied you a little bit. And SOON u will join the rest of us OP fans waiting for the weekly Anime/Manga release and getting older and older and older and probably also hope that it will never end because it would leave a hole in your life. Thanks for taking us on this ride with you guys. (I'm not constantly subbed on patreon and appreciate the YT releases therefore big times)

Mortalgnomo

im starting to hear something

Mrs.Portgas

a bit late to comment but i started watching you guys since you reacted to the OP opening, watched some JOJO reactions too. and i still remember in the OP OP's video when op 13 was playing and Luffy found Ace he smiled and i saw Prez smiling as well and i thought " yup, they'll be a great OP reactors" and i remember waiting months until you reacted to OP, i was ssooo happy, i joined patreon later then when you reached Arabasta for obvious reasons *coughAcecough* and yeah, what a journey it was! never once did i cancel my subscription since then 💃🏻💃🏻

It started with a crocomom theory video, which lead me to one of your impel down reaction videos in my recommends. Fast-forward, and I began rewatching one piece (which I stopped watching just before the time-skip back in the day). From Shabondy onwards on your reaction channel on YouTube. Then halfway into impel down on your Patreon along with you. Now, after a few weeks of binging I'm on Episode 1000 ! Will catch up to the most recent one, too!

[6:28] It's almost like that for me. Watched the dub on and off as a kid. But later began to watch sub in 2005. From episode 1 up to what was decently fansubbed, which was about E130. So the first OP (especially the Strawhats, full version) and first ED still got a special place in my heart. [20:16] As one should! And those quick little flashbacks do look amazing
