IDK why when Escanor had his moment, all i could think about is Kelvin saying "they are not mates" and it made me laugh still. while i enjoyed the the Escanor arc i do think i would of preferred if his power was his own and not tied to Mael, for me it kind of cheapened his shit talk in his fights before the reveal it was Mael's power.
