Gabiru is a meme, and an arrogant idiot. But he's not completely incompetent. Were it not for the Orc Lord empowering his troops, the hit and run tactics of the lizardmen would have been very effective with the swamp slowing the orcs down. Of course, if there was no Orc Lord, the lizardman king would have ordered the assault anyway, so we're back to Gabiru being an idiot.
