Happy Halloween, everyone!

We're sorry we were a bit late to post it this time... but we think most of you understand why, as our primary focus has been completing Chapter Two.

Speaking of that: 

Yes... Chapter 2 is coming to you all near the end of THIS month! 

(Halloween release!? Update cursed...)

We have a specific day in mind, but are a bit reluctant to announce it... so just keep an eye on your notifications because it's not far off.

Sup everyone. Quick question please, I was looking at the latest Radiant build on PGH.com today and there is a teaser image of an actual sex scene before hitting the play icon. Is there actually a scene available that I missed in my play through or that image an actual literal tease lol...? Not hating just humor but really curious.

There's sex in the game, but it's not missable unless you're skipping. It occurs fairly early on in CH1. If the scene you saw is different from what happens in game, then it's not from Radiant.

Will this release be significantly longer than the first release? As amazing as the first release was, it's pretty short. Not much longer than a single or maybe two releases of say midlife crisis I'm guessing, and that's about a monthly release. Do you have a count of renders, scenes etc that will be in the release? Or maybe an estimated gameplay time to complete the release?

Yeah I'm on the fence about keeping my subscription. Money is tight right now and with no content to show for months idk how worth it it is.

I feel you. I'm unemployed as well. I have faith that the quality of the update when it comes out will be worth it. Just hope the quantity is bigger than the initial release. Hope you'll be surprised and happy with the release and we can continue to support quality developers.

Personally I'm not a fan of cliff-hangers, and if you have this type of story with multiple episodes, each one doing the same thing it feels very disjointed. However, for the game and this story-line it was a logical ending to the first chapter, looking forward to part two and hope like yourself it is larger and I wouldn't draw much in terms of length from the first one.

Reading the 11th Oct update, that's a pretty definitive answer that the game will be released this month, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed I must admit as soon as I read it I took it to mean it would be a Halloween update(so Oct 31st)even though the Sept 25th suggested that it would be much earlier, but we will see. Long term I'm concerned that the game isn't really sustainable with these extended periods between releases, but I am hopeful that the game will still be epic and this is just a blip.

That makes sense. Thanks, hope you're right. I agree the long time between releases will be a problem, but iirc they said something about that and how future releases shouldn't take as long.

I downloaded this game free from Itch.io along with several other demos...but this game really blew me away! I actually cried when the MC was reading the letter and it immediately reminded me of 'Acting Lessons', the only other game that pulled on the old heartstrings. This game has so much potential to be greater than what it already is...and it's already awesome! I hope it reaches completion...so many projects seem to get abandoned halfway through...because, from my perspective this game rivals the best of this visual novel genre.

Awe, thank you buddy. We know it has been many months since the first chapter dropped, but we really wanted to pour every bit of care and love we had for this game (and adult games in general) into the second chapter. Thankfully, and to answer the previous inquiries, it looks like we're going to make it before the month end (we ARE pushing it close though--and it might be the last day or two of October). While we'll continue to give our best effort going forward after CH2, we do acknowledge that many patrons prefer speed over sheer quality so we plan to stick to a more consistent upload schedule, one that balances the two.

you and me both, Ch1 was amazing intrigued by the direction the journey the MC has embarked on, you really don't get a good feel in relation to that from what we have thus far(that's not in any way a criticism)

Same here, but i would like to say that the waiting time has been a bit over the top now for CH2 release. I think if they dont do a release here in october, im out, i know it takes time, but lack of communication, and slipping timelines do a number on people in general.

While we're cutting it pretty close, we *should* make it just in the nick of time. Also, I really appreciate you guys and your patience. Despite the long wait, you all have been totally chill about it/awesome. Regarding what you said, Fabian... I was thinking I did a pretty good job communicating things this time around.... but I suppose I could still do it a little better. That said: at the very least I've checked in with you guys once or twice a month to update y'all on our progress. If for some reason you didn't see these posts: sometimes I'll write an update along with the monthly wallpapers, other times I'll outright make a new post titled "Progress Report" or "Quick Info/Rant," and other times we'll quickly post something in the announcements channel on our Discord, or in the Patron Lounge. Either way: sorry about that! Also: thanks Squark! That means a lot to us. For those of you who've waited: we have a sort of surprise for you. We haven't decided if we'll show it before or after the release of Chapter 2, but it's our way of saying "sorry for the wait..." so keep your eyes peeled for that, too.

Too many times I've gone onto Steam, seen a new game that looked awesome, bought and downloaded it, only to find that it was an unplayable mess full of bugs and glitches. Fabian, I understand your frustration, but I would rather have excellent content and a bug free game than a rushed, crammed together, buggy mess.

Some people just have to bitch... it gets really annoying. If you don't like the speed of game releases, then LEAVE. You can always rejoin when the next version drops. I think that the other patrons would much rather pick up the slack for you than have to read your incessant bitchy moaning in the posts.
