I appreciate the time it takes to publish the next version. However, having seen many highly regarded developers (Devs) put their work out within at least a six-month window -- it's puzzling that BackHole has needed more than 9 months, perhaps more. What's the hold up? I've dedicated funds, but for just so long.

It's just a bit larger than the previous three and requires a bit more work. I posted a little progress report recently. Sorry you've been waiting for so long, and don't be afraid to drop your support and come back when the update is ready... as I completely understand that pledging month to month adds up quickly, and for many, the return may not be worth the investment. If you'd like a more detailed breakdown of why we take longer than 6 months sometimes... consider the size of the updates vs. the others you may be comparing them to. I also made a huuuge post a few months back that you could check out, where I go into way more detail explaining why it takes us a while.
