With Radiant Chapter 5 currently live, I figured you guys would appreciate a reminder/breakdown of how we handle early-access here on Patreon.

While the game is currently in pre-alpha, we use a descending 7-day early-access model regardless of the build-version.

This works as follows:

Gold ($20+): Immediate access to the game download.

Ruby ($10+): Access to the game download 2 days later than Gold.

Silver ($5+): Access to the game download 2 days later than Ruby.

For a total of only 4 days before the game is released to all-patrons.

Other platforms such as Itch.io: Access to the game three or more days after $5 patrons, depending on the build.

In other words, starting from the moment the game is released to our $20+ subscribers, the game will be in early-access for a total of 7-days, with each respective tier getting it 2-days apart from one another and everyone else/other platforms getting it after a total of at least 7-days.

If you have any questions about how this works or why we do it this way, feel free to post in the comments below. I honestly cannot wait to hear everyone's feedback and criticism regarding chapter five. Thanks! Love you all!

I'm silver so I'm waiting. Can't wait!

I can see it coming! It's sparkly and making amazing patterns on its way. I can wait because I know it's going to be spicy. Like waiting for a Ruby on a Friday night!

Bladeturbo

silver, but it's worth the wait, thank you.

Hey! Can you login to Discord and post in #game-help? I will be able to better assist you there. Usually when this happens, the most likely culprit is that you were playing the previous version with some kind of mod... such as an unofficial walkthrough-mod. Saves made with such mods installed generally won't be compatible until you've installed the updated version of said mod. Make sure you're also trying to load from the correct save point, i.e. when the game asks you to "Save here." If you don't have one at the specific save point, you can try loading a slightly earlier save and go from there.
