🚴‍♂️ 8 days, 750km across Hokkaido

🔥46,000 calories burned

🥳 $300,000 raised for the Immune Deficiency Foundation

Thank you to everyone who joined our epic journey 🙏

🍿There’ll be a big Abroad in Japan episode dropping in a few weeks and an extensive Patreon behind the scenes episode to go with it!

And a huge shoutout to the legendary team that made this adventure possible. From Connor the architect of this crazy project, to Ian (Producer/Driver), Paul (Camera/Drone) and our cheeky American cheerleader Pete.

Honestly one of the hardest, most physically and mental challenging undertakings of my entire life but one I know I won’t regret.

Looking forward to taking you guys on the journey in a few weeks on Abroad in Japan! ⛩

I wish I had the time to watch the entire livestream, but the bits and clips I saw was already amazing. Can't wait for the full AIJ video on the whole ride. Which I'm sure will be in several parts!

You five are to be commended for the outstanding work done for the stream, for the video footage, and keeping up the gruelling pace of the cycling on the road. $315k in donations is nothing to sneeze at. You guys helped to inspire and unify us toward a common goal. You guys helped to humanize a little-known disease category and demonstrate how we could get together and help others. I laughed at y'all's comedic banter and cried at the heart-warming camaraderie y'all had with Iron Mouse and each other. You guys are what's right with the world. Thank you for helping to renew my faith in humanity. Not an easy thing to achieve after working for a government agency in charge of prisons for 30+ years.

Amazing Chris and Connor. A great achievement for yourselves and for the IDF. Was watching yourselves and Van Crew from the UK when I could, you've made us proud boys.

Cycle 750km, while in the meantime helping save lives. Hopefully you are not too exhausted to appreciate fully what you have done.

Super fun to watch live! The Van Gang was awesome, partly due to our funny loud American, Pete.
