Quick update on the status of EmuDeck (Patreon)

Hello everyone!It's been a while since our last update, we are currently working in several QOL improvements and bug fixes, specially with CloudSync both on Linux / SteamOS and Windows.

As you can see from the picture above we have revamped the whole CloudSync interface on windows, we currently have improved the sync speed when using EmulationStation by a lot, but this new update needs a lot of testing before we can release it to you.In the meantime we've created a new way to provide you quick support for the most common issues, it's in very early stages and it's pretty basic, but it will get better and better over time.You can check it out here:https://discord.com/channels/934078500552462346/1133491010618540134So what's in store for the near future?After we release EmuDeck 2.1.19 aka "QOL update" we will start working on these features:

Windows- Xenia + Xemu support out of the box.- Playnite support( thanks to a fellow patron that's developing an EmuDeck plugin. SteamOS + Windows- SteamRomManager intelligent parser selection, we will only install the parsers for the systems you are interested in playing.- Sega Model 2 & 3 Emulation SteamOS- New alternatives to RetroArch like AresLinux

- Same features as SteamOS- Better support for more Distros.MacOS- Start porting EmuDeck to the Mac, for both Intel and Apple CPUs OnionOS- CloudSync between EmuDeck & Onion OS for Miyoo handhelds.Android- Start working in a first release so testing can begin.Those are the planned features for this year 2023, but we always add new stuff that wasn't planned so stay tuned!
