I'm excited to announce a major update that completely transforms how the instructor interacts with you during games.

What's New:

🎭 AI Personas - Choose from different instructor personalities, each with their own unique style:

- Cruel & Teasing

- Gentle & Encouraging

- Strict & Demanding

- And more to come...

🗣️ Dynamic Dialogue - Instead of pre-written scripts, the AI generates unique instructions based on your chosen persona. Every session feels fresh.

🎤 Voice Selection - Pair any persona with your preferred instructor voice.

How to Try It:

Click on your instructor in the header to open the new selector. Choose a personality and voice, then start a game to experience the difference.

Scripts you've bookmarked are still available if you prefer the classic experience.

Let me know what you think and which personas you'd like to see added next!

Welp, doing some initial testing just playing with buttons it does seem that the Personas tend to have the AI problem of being overly verbose. Rough & Direct being the least problematic with it so far. Notably right after an edge instruction. You'll edge and then it goes through a paragraph and a half or so of dialog before telling you to hold said edge. It has the potential to be amazing and if you can get them to tone down the verbosity in time-sensitive situations they'll be pretty damn fun I imagine. Bonus points if they end up having a bit more freedom to fuck with you task wise (within parameters, of course!) Good example being tracking how many times you hit the edge button and acting accordingly.

I concur. The dialogue is very lengthy, especially in the warmup and final direction segments, but its quite long throughout, ive noticed.

As one option for dealing with the brevity issue, consider having the generated dialogue include a "cue" marker so that some dialogue can begin ahead of a action and some can continue after it. I think that'd let you weave the dialogue more seamlessly into the flow of the game.
