Mandatory Mad Media Dissection Poll

  • Ted Lasso (because I can't stop watching it) 37
  • Twelve Angry Men (both 1957 & 1997 get a "huh" and a "meh" and an "it was all right") 5
  • The Servant S1 & 2 (wow, yikes, positive but this thing is INTENSE) 11
  • For All Mankind S1 & 2 (mostly positive, looking at you KAREN) 14
  • Ru Paul's Drag Race US S13 (ugh, meh bordering on negative for the first time in this franchise) 9
  • Schitt's Creek (I'm up to S4 and warming up to it...slowly) 23
  • Letterkenny (mostly positive) 9
  • The Way of the Househusband (haven't watched yet, will if chosen!) 17
  • Hadestown (I haven't seen the most recent Broadway show but am a longtime fan of every other iteration) 32
  • Dragons Love Tacos 1 & 2 ("something funny Bastian likes" was requested, this is his fave bedtime book at the moment!) 30
  • The Vow/Seduced/etc (OK I watched everything about the NXIVM cult that was a weird hyperfocus week there's...a lot to say) 25
  • Q: Into the Storm (HBO documentary about Qanon...positive, negative? Doco is amazing, subject makes flames on the side of my face) 13

This is seriously one of the most "ehhhh" seasons of drag race ever. It seems especially insulting when DRUK season 2 was SO GOOD. Just let me watch people be good at things and stop trying to force it into some weird narrative.

The NXIUM cult has so much in it to talk about. How often can you find something that allows you to link Laura Ingalls Wilder to sex branding? Little Cult on the Prairie? C'mon!!!
