Miscellaneous update #2 (Cocoin + YCH gifs) (Patreon)

I had a very heavy month IRL, and struggled a lot to finish this simple illustration due to some kind of weird self-induced pixel psychosis or something. Despite being a more simple cel-shaded style that technically took less time to paint, both this and the mockup scene from the past update have taken me more than 30 hours total (normally each drawing takes me 5 hours), because for some reason I became obsessed with font resolution and readability issues for days. I struggled with some discrepancies on pixel precision on different sizes, fonts, antialias and other settings, even though they are barely noticeable. I think this broke my mind in a very intense way the past few days, all scrambled around like when adding an image to a word document or missing a DIV tag on CSS.

I'm still a bit confused and tired, but also kinda glad I resurrected that old Mario baddies spreadsheet (calling it "Bootleg Baddies"), now that I had some clarity moments regarding the design of these gals. Can't wait to draw more of them!

On another positive note, I painfully but finally settled on some visual cohesiveness for this particular "Bootleg Baddie" collection format, and started making some props to reuse with that other "game mockup" scenes too.

That's the kind of brain farting I've been having this whole week, it's like I can't recall the common words in my brain, they're all like scrambled around like when adding an image to a word document or missing a DIV tag on CSS

In conclusion, I think I really need a break even though this drawing was supposed to be a break from commissions! From which I made many, from the animated YCH double-peacce booba-jiggle one. These ones have some milky goodness and futa too, so check them out! Featuring:

Suika (ZaneTheMonster's OC)

Shorely (hoodielazer's OC)

Felicity (Scarletflame's OC)

Purri (Laurienator's OC)

Pumpkin, Final Fantasy XIV (AfrofellXIV)

Kanau Takahashi (Kanau's OC)

Mega Folder here

Still plenty commissions on the backlog, so there's much to do. Big thanks to all the customers who joined in, and even if it's a lot of unexpected work added to my schedule, I really appreciate all the support and sales!

Now that I think about it, I didn't even remember to draw a NSFW version for Cocoin, so there's yet another update I need to make for her. Gotta finish those mockups for Groont and Nibblet from before too. And the comic. And the commissions. And taking a break, yes, yes, a break for mental sanity too, yes.

see ya soon!
