A Drawlog? in this economy? (Patreon)

I draw almost all day, everyday, but I can only upload results around once or twice a week, or less. That's way too little content for the current internet engagement economy, so I decided to start making more public preview posts in order to show you guys what I'm working on at the moment. I used to avoid doing this because I felt like I was spoiling future uploads and being too pushy, but after trying streaming and short videos, I really had to accept that I'm too old school to start adding that to my schedule. I might have to cover the spicy bits a lot for the images, but hopefully WIPs can still be shared.

Starting with the design for a Boo Baddie, hope I can have her ready in a few more days after working on the comic and comms for a bit. By the way, I need a bootleg name for her! I was thinking maybe "Spook" to keep the double O, or maybe "Peeky-boo" as in peek-a-boo, but I'm not really sure. Her Japanese name (Teresa) is not helping me too much either. Any Ideas for her name?

I was also working on the Cover for Plumber+Princess 4, and just finished it today! I picked some silly references for it and I had a chuckle at the contrast.

Also worked on more comic pages, finally done with a new batch! I might start uploading the comic soon, maybe after finishing 2 or 3 more pages after these. Trying to make the wait between episodes shorter!

Now that I'm finally clear on what Bootleg Baddies are going to be like, I feel more confident on adding some of them as extras. This is a Shortform Thwomp, gonna call her Thunkko or Twunkko.

So much to draw, so little time... I thought about drawing that girl from that new popular indie animation, but haven't had enough free time. What was her name? Ah, right! Butterfly from Planetronika! a silly short animation with lots of 2000's charm.

What else? ah, the cover! It will be the first thing to upload for the comic, so spoiling it shouldn't be a problem.

Can you spot the references? Actually nevermind, because besides the Nappa/Vegeta one I posted above, I ended up drawing just vague ideas for the rest of the cover 😅 Hope it looks fun though!
