I hope you had a fantastic week! Today I'm showing you some sketches that I do for warm up / in my free time (which is not much lately! haha)

I've shared my process for this little sketch!

As always, first of all I look for some good references (it is extremely helpful to know how does things work. For example, how faces / noses / lips squish against each other in a kiss!)

Then I start my first rough sketch and I little by little clean the whole thing

I add basic colors looking for a nice contrast (in this case, it is a black and white piece so I just look for the right tone for skin and hair

After that, I place shadows while thinking about the directional light. This is the strong light, and I like doing it as appealing as possible! Not just functional :)

I added some extra effects / subtle colors, and a couple details more and it's done!
