Some steps for this little piece I made recently!As always, I followed similars steps, trying to make it slightly more rendered:

I start with the sketch, which I clean up until I use them as the final lines. I put them in Multiply mode.

After that, I add flat colors.

Shading goes next, which I add in Multiply as well. Lighting is the inverse area of the shadows, in Expose or Overlay mode! (I try both and then choose)

And that's it all together! I paint on top as a rendering <3
