The cook and the guard 💙❤️ - Process (Patreon)

HELLO HELLOOOO!

SO today I have a new piece! With Diego and Diana in their disguise costumes. Diego has black skin as an ilusion. I like how this one turned out, so I'm gonna show you a bit of the process. It's kind of the same as usual, but 3D here was very important to make the whole picture together.

So first I started with a 3D mockup. Doesn't have to be perfect, for me it usually works to just have cubes around but for this one I used a bit more complicated assets. Some of them I made them myself, and other assets were free to use ones.

After I find a nice angle, I start sketching on tope. After that, it is the same as always, but keeping in mind many elements. I start with black and white, adding as less color as possible to focus on values (which I love <3)

And then, we can start polishing as far as we want! I didn't make a whole big render, just wanted to have the mood and a nice atmosphere.
