Those are the pieces I did during 2022 Kiss Art February Challenge 🤍 (Hosted by @/violettenouvel on Twitter!)

🤍 About Leah:I haven't talked much about Leah since I don't have her new design done yet. And it's quite complicated because of: plate armor! 

She's a Moon Paladin human (we don't play DnD for this campaign, we use a Spanish RPG book called 'Aquelarre'. But since it's really old, and there are some stuff we don't like at all, our DM made many changes on it. It's some kind of dark-fantasy medieval world, very inspired by The Witcher universe!)I drew her A LOT, since she was my first TTRPG character, the first I played and designed 🤍 

I've been drawing non stop since this campaign started, and this is the main reason I am now working as an artist. It was my main inspiration for YEARS, and it still is! 

Unfortunately, the last time we played was a year ago, since our DM can't handle writing all of the campaigns at the same time (we love you Fran!)

So yeah! I love Leah so, so much, she's so important for me!

Her backstory is something that would took too long to explain, but I would gladly write it all if you are interested in her! 

As a quick introduction:

Leah was the bastard daughter of the king of Roblemar with a witch. 

They found the child at the entrance of the castle, like she was 'abandoned'? The king never said or act like she was her daughter, and the witch never appeared during her whole life. 

She was told that her parents died when she was born, and since they were friends with the king and queen, they agreed to stay with her and give her a home. 

During her whole life, she trained to become the Royal Guard Leader, and when the princess Iris was born, she was the one who protected her from the beginning.

The king never had a real close relationship with his daughter, but Leah was like a big sister for her. They spent everyday together. 

After some heavy inconveniences that may hurt the princess, Leah ran away from the castle with Iris, but... for anyone else, what happened was that the Royal Guard kidnapped the princess.

The whole story is now completed, we solved everything in game, and EVERYTHING makes sense now. Every single detail! So it was a very, very intense campaign. 

Also romance was something I never tough for Leah, but it just happened naturally during the game, so I'm super grateful for that! 🤍 And Jack Jones is her pirate boyfriend:

We met her during a mission (a pirate themed adventure that was AWESOME), and at the beginning she didn't like him at all since she's a serious stoic woman, and he's super extroverted and charismatic guy. 

But at the end they get along very well, he was so charming and she was just like what are you doing?????? But he made her laugh, and that's something she wasn't used to. And she loved it 🤍🤍

The first time they meet he was DRUNK on a tavern trying to flirt with her or anyone close to him, and the second one he was NAKED on a lake (This was so much fun because he was getting out of water like: "Heyaaaaaaa pretty lady" and Leah was just standing there, arms crossed, actually trying to look away)

So at the ✨PIRATE GALA✨ we needed a plan to steal some crystal from a mansion, and the party divided in four groups: 

Three of them were like sneaky groups, and a two meters woman who doesn't know how to hide or lie was clearly not a good choice. 

The missing group was the one who has to just pretend to be at the party. That's all. Having fun was all she needed to do ((This was actually a hard one for Leah)) So we divided in couples, and in fact, Leah's partner was going to be ✨Jack✨ 

Leah had NO idea at all about how to act at a party, because she has been at some fancy places that as a BODYGUARD, but NOT ACTUALLY PARTYING. I'm sharing with you their first kiss, because I'm never getting tired of this moment, they were at the main entrance of the mansion:

     Leah and Jack walked together until they reached the main entrance. Everyone there was dressed very fancy, just like them. There were two guards asking for the invitations.

     Jack moved a little closer to Leah  “Soooooo... aren't we supposed to act like a couple?”

     Leah wasn't even looking at him “I suppose”

     They walked another couple steps, being just two people between them and the entrance now.

     “...then we have to kiss, for everyone to believe so”

     Leah was still staring at the gate and the guards. A couple seconds passed until she turned to face Jack “Alright, makes sense”

     Jack looked back at her, very surprised. But she looked pretty calm, just following the plan (at the end she had no idea about what they should do to 'pretend to be partying')l. He didn't doubt a single second and took the serious stoical paladin as they were at some movie and kissed her passionately in front of everyone.

     When they were done, Jack just took her around the waist and headed for the entrance. They were the next ones to enter.

     Leah was pretending it wasn't relevant, but she actually liked that.

They spent the rest of the night playing cards, drinking some alcohol and having fun. And this was the first night Leah had fun like that.

While they were playing, even though they didn't have to pretend to be a couple all the time, Jack leaned into her to kiss her again. And it didn't bother her. It happened once, twice and more than five times. 

At the beginning Leah was thinking 'This is for the good of the mission. Just- do it for the mission', but in the end she found herself looking at him like she was asking for another kiss.

At some point, Jack took Leah to a pretty balcony to have some more privacy, and they were like a teenage couple sneaking from a party to just keep kissing each other while they talked a little more about themselves. 

Leah confessed she was not used to those kinds of situations at all, but Jack was happy to show her some fun.

At the end, the plan went just as planned, and they were the last ones to leave the mansion. It was pretty late, so they looked for a place to spend the night. Jack rented two rooms but when he was saying goodnight to Leah in her room, she was the one who took the initiative and asked him to stay the night with her.

Of course, he did stay with her🤍
