Hello lovely people! πŸ’™

This month I'm showing you more about my process when it's about a rendered portrait.

I also added the reference that have helped me with lighting!

This is all about trusting the process:- First of all I start with a clean sketch. This a very clean one for me, since I'm not used to clean the lines a lot (as you probably know already!)

The most we care about the lines, the smoother the process will be later :) Lines will be our guides.

- Once I have the sketch done, I paint a simple background and I put a base color on the character. I put a little more of saturation on the areas were our skin usually have more blood, and it's more reddish (cheekbones, nose, ears...)- Then I keep adding base colors, on different layers to have a quick access in case I need a selection.

- Now I start working on light and shadows, and this is going to be mostly my priority until the final version. I need to choose a direction for the light, and work from that.

- After light and shadows, it's time for painting until we get the final version of the piece :) I love adding some little glows and effects, and I usually make some color adjustments until I find the one I like πŸ’™And that's it! I hope you liked it and it was helpful for you :) I will gladly help if you have any questions!
