I actually found you through Phil de Franco when you guys had the podcast during comicon in 2015. I met you guys at the meet and greet and Tim made fun of my filthy casual bulbasaur phone case lol. I still have the photo I took with you guys and I became a fan since

I actually found you when Greg filled in on Play Watch Listen when they told Troy they were replacing him(it was around the time Solitaire Conspiracy came out that Greg to VO ) and they seemed to like Greg and he seemed funny and saw his Kinda stuff on Twitch and the rest from there

I think I heard Greg or Tim on the podcast DLC, and then I found Gary Whitta from becoming obsessed with Animal Talking, and then after Last of Us pt 2 I watched every YouTube video I could find about it and then found and stayed with Kinda Funny. It felt so dense to enter, with so many inside jokes and podcast within a podcasts. By PS5 launch a few months later I was full-time best friend patron watching all shows. Being a WFH era best friend meant my mind was fucking blown when the spare bedroom launched, just crying into my hot wings and oreos.

I also found Kinda Funny and Play Watch Listen around the same time! Was consuming as much TLOU content as possible and found Troy there. Now I follow each of them independently and find them all so interesting and inspiring. Quarantine was really peak content creator discovery for me lol

I don’t know if they listen to KF now because at the time they hadn’t, but someone discovered Andy’s twitch streams by seeing them playing in a bar

I used to be a big Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter fan (RIP but also I stopped watching them years ago), so I just recognized Greg as the loud guy who likes to take his shirt off from the gauntlet and the times he's appeared on the RT podcasts. I started getting more interested in gaming news shows and then I saw KFGD on the front page of the RT website and gave it a shot. Nearly 5 years later, and I'm still a daily listener

October of 2018 after Ashely Jenkins stopped appearing on the know I was looking for something to fill that hole so I typed “gaming” into apple podcasts and found a gamescast about red dead 2 and have been a daily listener ever since. I didn’t follow any other Rt content at the time and had never heard of anyone at kinda funny. It just happened to be at the top of the search list.

Hearing Tim and Nick gush about Fast & Furious on RT's Always Opens had me hooked into KF so quickly.
