My Christmas Movie Recommendation: THE NIGHT BEFORE! Starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie as three high school friends who spend Christmas Eve together every year as a tradition. Now in their 30s and with lives leading them in different directions, they’ve decided to end the tradition… but now they have tickets to a mythical Christmas party they’ve been trying to attend for over a decade… THE NUTCRACKER BALL! Together they go on a wild adventure trying to get across town, to the party in one piece. It’s genuinely filled with the holiday spirit while also being a pretty funny and raunchy comedy. Lots of people you know and recognize pop up as cameos and Michael Shannon goes hard as the local drug dealer they’ve known since high school. It’s one of my favorite Christmas movies and not just because I’m the biggest pothead in this community.
