Hey you vault dwellers! THANKS SO MUCH for the support on our Attack on Titan reactions for Season 2. Let us know what show you would like us to watch next for this slot! We are thinking One Punch Man then FMA:B but since both of those are on the wheel we are willing to hear suggestions for other shows in this slot.

However we were thinking of leaving this slot exclusive to only anime shows. We don't want to watch too much anime or too much live action so we will leave 1 slot for Anime on Tuesdays! Comment below and we will create an additional post with a vote on which show we will be watching when we meet again next Sunday!

AoT Final Reaction

Comments

Arranit Malushaj

Agreed with Olivier Luc. Without any spoilers, just keep watching as it comes. Once it hits you, it hits like a ton of bricks, in the best way lol.

Chelle

I wish y’all hadn’t cut the part when Ymir was talking to Reiner and Bertholdt in the wall

Tobi

You should try Tokyo Ghoul or Death Note

Kaleb

Forget one punch man, Brotherhood is where it's at, unless you want to try other less mainstream anime like Erased.

Anonymous

I second Death Note not a huge series and it's honestly one of the best

Leo

You guys will love FMA:B in Dubbed and Deathnote in sub. I can't decide which reaction I'd like to see because they're both so good!

Zachary Williams

Death Note would be so great to see you guys react to its a fantastic anime.

Alex Johnson

Definitely check out Death Note. I would suggest watching it in the English Dub. It is amazing.

Pavi

I think One Punch Man should be next. It's overall a bit lighter in tone, it's a short, quick watch, and it's an awesome show overall. THEN you can go back into the darkness of a more intense longer series, like FMA: Brotherhood or something else. I'm also gonna throw Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in the mix of options for its super hype moments!

Nicholas Roca

I would think FMA:B is more their type of show. They will love the dark themes and story but they will be able to appreciate the humor when it arises.

Drew

Erens voice actor blew me away this episode. The scene where he breaks down was incredible. The reason they treated the underground city so nonchalantly is that it is featured in the OVAs, it is where Levi is from.

DreadedJay

You didn't know about the underground city means you haven't watched AOT No Regrets OVA. You should watch it .

Alex Johnson

Note: I tried posting this comment before, but for some reason I can't see it. Sorry if this is a double......Ben, it definitely has not been a month (in the show) since the fight with Annie. Literally right after the fight with Annie, a part of the wall was broken from Annie attempting to climb it with her hardened claws. It revealed that there were titans in the walls. After that scene, the show goes ~2 hours back in time and shows Sasha, Connie and the rest of the gang at the time the Titans were spotted in the walls (this was during mid-day). They then went to try to find the breach in the wall. The two different groups that went went to search the walls ended up running into each other at night (the same day). That is when they decided to find shelter to rest up because they and the horses were tired. They go to rest at Utgard Castle and a few hours later (still night), titans show up. Ymir goes titan form as the sun is beginning to come up, so it has been ~12 hours so far since the encounter with Annie. Mikasa and the crew save Ymir and the others around this time. They then go onto the walls to discuss what happened with Ymir and talk about the hole in the wall and discover there isn't one. Reiner and Bertholdt turn into Titans and the fight begins. The fight ends during the same day with Reiner and Bertholdt taking Eren and Ymir. The same day, Eren wakes up a few hours until sunset. So now it has been a little over 24 hours since the encounter with Annie. The scouts catch up to them and the chase begins. Once they retrieve Eren and escape, it is night time. So this entire season has only taken place somewhere around 36 hours.

DxShadow

One Punch man definitely

hamad

react to the ova ep 1 and 4&5

Nicholas Roca

I agree that Ben was misinformed, but you could of explained yourself just fine in a shorter comment.

Ricardo Fortuna

I think One Punch Man and the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a good idea. Since OPM is shorter.

Kris

Death Note English dub or OPM english

Kanza

FMAB

Upup

No dubs ever. Don't listen to these people

Varjo

One Punch Man is really not worth your time, so overhyped. FMA:B maybe starts off a little slow but completely blows away AoT in story, characters and scale once it gets going.

Anonymous

You should've showed them the trailer for Season 3 after watching this episode.

RF

It's not that the animators from this one studio are underpaid and overworked, it's that all animators are underpaid and overworked. Anime is a very niche media. An anime that breaks even on production costs is considered a success. These days not a lot of people want to be animators because of that, so the industry is just shrinking.

DxShadow

Not really, OP man offers something different. FMA:B gets boring after a while.

Alex Johnson

There are Bonus Episodes (or OVAs) that came out after season 1 aired that covers the underground city and tells Levi's backstory. They are called Attack on Titan No Regrets Part 1 and Part 2. There is also another important OVA that tells the story of the first known titan to speak called Attack on Titan Ilse's Journal. You may want to consider reacting to those few since season 2 just ended.

Alex Johnson

Yeah, they should definitely react to those episodes (i'm surprised they didn't know about them since they came out a little after season 1 finished). It gives a lot more insight into Levi's character. Another OVA (Bonus Episode) to watch is Attack on Titan: Ilse's Journal.

Alex Johnson

They should watch that and Attack on Titan Ilse's Notebook. It is just one episode, but it gives some important information (this aired way before season 2).

Julia Contreras

I'm just gonna say Neon Genesis Evangelion 'cause reasons and I need a rewatch. And, of course, because it's freaking awesome.

Anonymous

They announced that season 3 is gonna come out in 2018

mark sweitzer

Yea I'd like to see my hero academia also

coffeemilk

Watch the OVAs if you want to learn more about the Underground city, plus extra character backstories.

byron frazier

my hero academia or one punch man

Anonymous

React to Boku no hero academia next please! also great season for AoT, the next season has already been announced for 2018 and supposedly is going back to 24 episodes instead of the 12 they showed this season.

Jonathan baez

Dont worry it has been confirmed 2018 :)

Manny D.

Gonna end up watching so many terrible dubs *shudder* lol. But I'd do it for the Normies. Not that I think these will be taken into consideration since doing OPM then FMA:B makes sense for you guys, but Sailor Moon, Ouran High Host Club, and Death Note are all great shows :D

Volpe

season 3 was already confirmed for 2018! <3

Allison

Go old school and watch Cowboy Bebop

Allison

Oh or Angel Sanctuary ;)

Anonymous

Will you guys watch the 5 attack on titan ova episodes and react to those as well?

Naveen Iyer

Definitely watch OPM and then FMA:B! The are fantastic shows. In the case that you finish those shows before the next season of AoT premieres, or if you have another slot for another anime, I would highly recommend you watch an older classic such as Cowboy Bebop or Trigun👍🏽👍🏽

Lalisa Truong

Kaji Yuki, Eren's Japanese VA, actually shredded his throat because of this episode :P

Jay

It's been 2 days since the capturing of Annie, not a few months. Keep in mind that the Beast Titan started shit while the fight with Annie was going on - on the night of that day Reiner, Bert, Connie, Christa and Ymir were fighting titans at Castle Utgarde. In the morning of the following day we see the Scouts save them, that's the same day as the Reiner/Berthold reveal, fight and kidnapping of Eren and then the Scouts were already caught up to them before nightfall. Also if you guys want to check out the Underground Cities watch the No Regrets 2 part OVA (OVAs are like extra episodes in Anime) that shows Levi joining the scouts, he's from an Underground City.

Anonymous

You guys should watch the OVA episodes for attack on titan, it explains Levi's origins and the underground city as well as other episodes that help out misunderstandings.

olof

Yeah, OP-Man first makes sense. Remeber to watch FMA: Brotherhood.

Allison

Attack on Titan Jr High?

Crystallux

I'd agree with OPM since it's shorter and still great

Anonymous

Next season is confirmed for next year.

Kasata

The OVA`s Guyss pleaaseee, Levi´s - No Regrets is EPIC, and he´s from the Underground City, its explained

The Normies

We'll be done with OP Man in a couple months probably, but Ben has been begging for FMAB to find a spot on the react wheel. - Hannah

WakandaForever

That was a shit reaction. You guys skipped most of the ep

Oscar Grind

Have no idea if anyone else has suggested it or not, but you guys should watch Durarara!!

Sarah Hefferin

Did you guys see the OVA No Regrets about Levi? If not you should react to it!

HazePack309

I can't wait for Rana to get to this episode so I can hear her talk about Erwin looking hot with a beard.

Olivier Luc

Guys don't bother trying to guess what the backstory is you can try and imagine whatever you want you'll always be wrong i can assure you, when i switched from anime to manga my mind was blown away.
