#sundayrundown Ichibei speaking cryptically as ominous music plays: Those who perish call Irazu Sando. It means "no entry Sandō".A Sandō is a path/road leading to the entrance of a Shinto shrine, with a torii (the wooden gate Ichigo is walking towards) marking the origin of the path. If you rewatch that scene again, you'll notice that Ichigo at first appeared to be getting close to the torii gate, but when he started to feel a heaviness weighing down upon him the distance between him and the torii gate seemed to grow exponentially. Per Ichibe's warning, those unworthy to be a vessel will succumb to the weight and perish, never able to leave the place where Ichigo is now. In other words, they will never be able to enter the Sandō. Hence, those who perished there called it the "no entry Sandō" (Irazusandō). Love that they brought back some of the old OST's. Hope we see more of that. Comparison of Changes in the Anime Adaptation Added/Expanded Content • The "Wortlich Hall" scene is anime-original. • The Soldat/Soul Reapers fighting in front of Squad 10. • Bazz-B telling the Soldat to move onto the next target. • Additional shot of Uryu overlooking the Wandenreich before the eyecatcher. • Hitsugaya's ice shielding Matsumoto from Bazz-B's flames. • Hitsugaya's line: "Is begging for mercy what the winning side would do?" • Matsumoto noting: "Operation Mille-feuille is a huge success!" • The post-credits scene is anime-original. They got caught sleeping on my boy Bazz B almost as bad as Toshiro lmao

#SundayRundown: Bleach In the manga, there’s a piece of dialogue that was cut. Remember when Yamamoto blasted away 3 Sternritters who tried to jump him? (As Nodt, Bazz B, and Nanana) The only reason they survived was because in the manga, Bazz B said that he reduced the damage of Yamamoto’s flames with his own kinda like how Grimmjow weakened the damage of Shinji’s Cero by firing his own. They still got burnt and didn’t get back up until after Yamamoto died. I can’t imagine why the anime would cut that dialogue out.

Christian R Lewis-Batista

#SundayRundown This was a great episode that showed how despite their training, the captains still were unable to overcome the quincies and their schrifts. Bazz B - his schrift is revealed as the H the heat. In the Manga during Yamamotos and Yhwach match, three Quincy attacked Yamamoto, As Nodt, Bazz B and Nananana Najakoop. Yamamoto burned all three at once but they did not turn into skeletons and ash, that was because Bazz Bs flames were strong enough to counter Yamas shikai flames and save himself and his teammates. This is why he is able to easily counter Hitsuguya, even with Matsumotos help. BG9 - As he mentions, and is obvious with the name, he is just a quincy robot. Sadly the dub really does not have the same robotic voice the japanese dub has. His schrift is revealed as K but for some reason Kubo never reveals what it means. But context clues and theories amongst the community have narrowed it down to the K for Knowledge or Knowing. He himself said he analyzes data and adds it to his collection. He even knew to attack Soi Fon wrists as that’s where spiritual pressure vents are located in shinigami, stopping her shunko. Another dark thing they took out the anime is that BG9 actually impales Omeadas sister and lifts her in the air as he questions him. Mayuri sunsuit ftw. Even Askin noped out that fight cuz Mayuri be on some BS

Esther

So in the og manga, Omaeda’s little sister DID actually get pierced by BG9’s swords or whatever. 😭💀

Abdulrahman

#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW Just to give a general overview, here are the German word translations so far- Stern Ritters = Star Knights (The Quincys) "Heilig Pfeil" = Holy Arrow (Standard Quincy ability) "Letzt Stil" = Last Style (Original Quincy’s Final Form') "Sklaverei" = Holy Slavery (Quincy’s Reishi or spirit particles subjugation/absorption ability) "Licht Reich" = Empire of Light (ancient Quincy empire) "Soldat" = Soldier (The Quincy’s foot soldiers) "Kirchenlied" = “Church Hymn”, and "Sankt Zwinger" = Saint Dungeon/Sanctuary Veneration (Clone Yhwach’s ability used against Yamamoto’s Bankai) "Qualkreis" = Circle of Anguish (Another 1 of Yhwach’s abilities) "Schatten Bereich" = Shadow Realm (Quincy’s private location for the past 1000 years) Wandenriech = Invisible/Walled Empire (Current General location) Silbern Wörtlich = Silver Wrought Castle/Cross Fortress (Current Location Center) Vollständig = Complete Holy Form (Quincy Bankai Equivalent) Blut Vene = Blood Vain (Defensive ability) Schrift = Holy Script (Signature Ability) Auswählen = Holy Selection/Consecration (Time of Reckoning event) Kaiser Gesang = Emperor/Praise Song (The Plot) Also this but not German is Irazusando = The Unapproachable Path. This is completely anime original as Ichigo was absent for most of this part of the story, so now this is something for him to do in regards to making more sense of his absence. As for Toshiro Vs Bazz B, them being pitted up against each other is just a basic example of the polar opposite contrasts as 🔥Vs 🧊 and fits into the nature of Bleach. Sidenote: While Yhwach with the A Schrift as the first letter designation and Hashwalth with the B Schirift as his right hand man are the strongest. They’re the exceptions. The one with the Z schrift to be revealed later on is not the weakest so the Sternritters are not ranked on power like the Espada were.

Zana

The Sternritter letters are NOT a reference to their ranking, it's a reference to their schrift which was given to them by Yhwach. It also references their special ability

SBR/Bleach Calaminator

Bleach TYBW Epsiode 15- Peace From Shadows Keyword Page 1: Wandenreich (“Invisible/Walled Empire”) “The Quincy Empire ruled by Yhwach. Its predecessor was the "Empire of Light" (“Lichtreich”) which is said to have existed somewhere in the past. A thousand years ago, Emperor Yhwach of the "Empire of Light" led the Sternritter in an invasion of the Soul Society, but was defeated by the Original 13 court guard squads led by Shigekuni Genryusai Yamamoto, putting the Empire On the verge of extinction. With nowhere to go, the remaining Quincy fled to the Seireitei, where the Soul Reapers were least wary, and created a spiritual (Reishi) space within every "shadow", which came to be known as the "Invisible Walled Empire", Hidden within as part of the Soul Shield Membrane that surrounds the soul society.”  Epsiode 15 Keyword Page 2: Shunkō (“Flash War Cry”) “The name of a combat technique that combines Hakuda (Hand-to-Hand Combat) a Soul Reaper’s combat style and Kidō (Spirit Spells/Magic) the spell-casting system of the Soul Reapers. The wielder wears highly compressed Kidō on their back and shoulders, which surges to the limbs of the wielder and can be released in bursts during the fight. Because powerful bursts occur at the same time as the technique is activated, the back and shoulders of the battle attire worn by Shunkō wielders Yoruichi Shihōin and Soi-Fon, are designed to be exposed as it destroys the clothing. In addition, the attributes of the technique also change accordingly depending on the wielder’s spiritual pressure.”

#Sunday Rundown - Bleach In the manga, Omaeda’s little sister ended up getting impaled who was hiding away in the house. But in the anime, they changed it so he comes out more heroically showing he’ll protect his little sister from danger.

SBR/Bleach Calaminator

The changes and additional content for the most part are so much better and enhance the source material.

Yhwach

I didnt say they were bad. I just stated the changes. Yes anime > manga

Adan Guzman

Make sure you specify what you mean by Bazz B countering Yamamoto’s Shikai flames. Some people believe counter/cancel out means to completely neutralize(although it can mean that too) which of course isn’t the case since he got burned still. He reduced the damage.

Christian R Lewis-Batista

Yea but I did mention he burned them and didn’t completely erase them like how his flames usually do.

Nabeshin

#SundayRundown #BLEACH That 4Kids "One Piece" edit. 😂 1:03 - Holy crap, Suraj! That was a dope Kurotsuchi voice. Terrence Stone is the dub voice actor. I first encountered him as Garan in the game "Shadow Hearts: Covenant", where his double-voice technique is even more pronounced. Here's a clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EDkq0CTNG8 Now as for your Hitsugaya slander, I will reiterate something I said back in episode 4 that is relevant now, and will become more relevant coming up: Child prodigy Hitsugaya is INSANELY powerful, and one of the strongest captains, despite how young he is. The problem is that, while he's in a lot of the story, he doesn't get into a lot of fights. The ones he does get into are plot-related and require his opponent and him to end in a draw, or for the opponent to reveal JUST HOW INSANELY STROG THEY ARE by blindsiding Hitsugaya. It's a similar problem with Renji, but while Renji just keeps no-selling in his battles, Hitsugaya at least wins temporarily...before an outside force rescues his opponent from his ice, so they can die to someone else later for the plot. 😭 This is the only time and opponent has released THEMSELVES from his ice due to him being bankai-less. Interestingly, even though Rukia has far less control over ice, she has a better track-record of freezing her opponents TO DEATH. Hitsugaya's done it once, with Shaulong, Rukia's done it twice, with D-Roy and Aaroniero. There is a reason for this, but you don't know it yet. 😏

Ahan Shankwalkar

#sunday rundown bleach the sternritter letters dont refer to their rank it refers to their ability.

Ryan Wall

Yeah, the schrifts aren't a way to tell the rank of a Quincy, but rather what their ability is. Though in Ishida's case, the schrift "A" really does outrank the others because it's the same as Yuha's (not the same ability, but the same letter).

Ashish Kumar

How could Shunsui never discovered shadow realm when he uses his shikai's shadow game and goes inside the shadow.

GodUsopp

i always hate how toshiros powers were displayed in bleach, it makes ice look like a trash power when in reality it would be op asf, hes actually won more fights than people give him credit for but because people always get broken out of his ice by others interfering it makes his ice look ineefective

TkOHarley Museum

It's probably that his shadow is a different realm than the massive realm created by Ywach

MarkyO

Every episode from here on out is going to be absolute cinema

SBR/Bleach Calaminator

Cause it implied that Bazz B is relative to him and they found it redundant or fallacious.

Kail Andrews

#SundayRundown Edited from last week. Bleach The anime skips a lot regarding the explanation of the schrift. First Ywhach is capable of seeing into someone’s soul, from what he sees he then makes them drink his blood and carve a letter into their soul, this grants them a schrift based on their personality and who they are. These ones go from A to Z and no one has the same schrift, that is why Uryu is even more special of a case, because it is stated by Ywhach the he shares the letter A. The schrifts are a form of hacks ability, since they can be very simple or very abstract and complex, some of them are so vague that the community is not entirely sure on how they work; so don’t feel bad if you can’t figure them out before we explain them to you. These are all of the schrifts that have been revealed up to this episode: -Revealed only user: • Ywhach/ A • Uryu Ishida/ A • Bambieta Basterbine/ E • NaNaNa Najakoop/ U • BG9/ K • Jugram Haschwalth/ B -Revealed user and power • As Nodt/ F “The Fear” • Quilque Opie/ J “The Jail” • Driscol Berci/ O “The Overkill” • Berenice Gabrielli/ Q “The Question” • Jerome Guizbatt/ R “The Roar” • Loyd Lloyd/ Y “The Yourself” • Royd Lloyd/ Y “The Yourself” • Bazz-B/ H “The Heat” You could try and guess what the remaining letters in the alphabet refer to and their abilities. Also you can watch the OP, is safe. Finally, Ichigo’s training wasn’t shown in the manga we just knew it happened, so pay attention because it contains very important lore and information. And believe it or don’t, these next seasons adapt or reference content from CFYOW, so be ready.

Smash Bran'Discootch

I rarely ever encounter anyone who has played any of the shadow hearts games! I actually played Covenant before the first one. Fantastic series that doesn't get the credit it deserves. You also just jumped up like 20 points in my Cool Book 😆

Nabeshin

Haha! "Shadow Hearts" is my favorite game of all time. Blew my mind when I first played it as a teenager. Covenant is objectively better in almost every way, but I didn't like how, tone-wise, they turned down the macabre dial and turned up the anime...which they did even MORE in From The New World. *smh *. Still enjoyed that last entry, gameplay-wise, but blegh. It was YEARS later that I found out about "Koudelka". Thus, my mind was blown again as an adult. 😆

Marius Reini

Hey great job on getting this far. Just want to make a quick note that The letters for the Sternritters have nothing to do with rank. Its simply what their powers are. Just for notice Uryu's letter is "A" as mentioned in a previous episode but it is not the same power per as Yhwac, they just have the same letter. A and B just happend to be the highest ranks, mainly for story purposes. Also to make it easier to say his name just call him "Yuha".

Masked Void

[Tidbits For Those Interested] - Fun Fact: There is an early artwork in Bleach that has Uryu walking beneath Ichigo as his Shadow, which in hindsight was an obvious hint. For those who want to see it, research [Bleach Chapter 34 Quincy Archer Hates You]. - We get the confirmation of where the Quincy went and hid for 1000 years. Many assume that this shadow world is a place that alters aging in some way which makes sense given it's in the shadows of the Soul Society. This is likely how Quincy who are Human are able to still be young and alive despite hundreds of years passing. - Here In the manga we learned from Bazz B that he was the one who basically saved them back when Yamamoto tried to burn the 3 Sternritter attacking him setting Yamamoto's flames off course, which means Bazz B Flames are pretty strong. - Nanao creating such a unique and powerful Kido in such a short time is a good showing of just how capable she actually is. Shunsui is one of the Strongest Captains, so it's good to see that his Lieutenant has the chops for the position. - The scene where Omeada is confronted by BG9 (The Robotic Quincy) is slightly different in the manga, his sister gets gruesomely impaled, but here Omeada takes the Hit. - "9th Head of the Fon Clan" is a slightly important line, many Bleach fans either forget or aren't aware the Lesser Noble Families exist and that Nobility in Soul Society means you have a higher reiatsu potential. - Askin is a breath of fresh air, at least for this genre of Shounen Anime. He's not the type that just fights, he uses his brain and respects possible threats, we all know how outlandish Mayuri is so it's smart to want to avoid a fight with him, especially when there are much easier targets. [Reposted]

Tez Chamberlain

I have a question. Does the fourth wall membership on the website have more reactions or is it up to date with patreon?

Kayso

The quincies sitting at the table at the beginning reminds me of the espada meeting. Can't get over how much Askin (D) looks like Aizen 😂 Soifon turned up this episode using Shunko, same move Yoruichi used against her in their fight in the soul society arc. Remixed version of precipice of defeat always gives me chills, never gets old. Although I like the original precipice of defeat better, the TYBW version still bangs

Yhwach

I checked and they are the same so far

TkOHarley Museum

Sunday Rundown! - Omeada's sister was impaled in the manga. Anime continuity is the 'true' story though. - While the light room and suit were what Mayuri was working on in his lab, don't forget that you saw him operating on something else. Something that was wailing in pain. - This opening is OK to watch. It's the only opening in Blood War so far that doesn't just flat out spoil everything lol. - Irazusando (that training path Ichigo is on) translates to "Path of No Return." - Now that you're a few episodes ahead, what do you make of how Ichibe (the staring monk) described Irazusando? "It begins but does not end. Names wither in the silence, in an abyss of roiling clouds. Raindrops fill an empty vessel. Those unworthy to be a vessel succumb to it's weight and turn to stone. It breaks apart and turns to gravel. Pounding rain reduces it to dust. "

Brian

Im gonna keep saying it until they mention it lol but Byakuya was supposed to die frfr but the crazy fans doxxed and sent him death threats to change that

I

Do you have a source for this? I see so many people say this and I'm yet to see proof that Kubo actually intended to kill Byakuya off but didn't follow through because he's a fan favourite. It's not like we haven't seen numerous Bleach characters recover from what would typically be fatal wounds.

Phil

Dude has no source because Bleach fans be making shit up all the time

Phil

3rd op doesn't really spoil any plot points either

Castiel_01x

Byakuya was literally confirmed to have been dead by Haschwalth. I really doubt him to be the type of person who misjudge things like that.

Phillip C Bermea

Yup, which is why in the anime they cut out that line that hashwalt says "byakuya has died"

Jordan Postle

The animators literally animated shadows around Mayuri's lips
