the supereyepatch wolf unreality of pro wrestling video is almost perfect, to me the only thing it kinda lacks is the samoan family story which matters so much for the mania 40 match, that entire build is around royal family vs royal family, it could of done with 5 mins explaining the samoan lineage going back to the territory days

I think the people who say “Joel deserved it” miss the entire point of the Last of Us. It’s still the same binary, tribalistic thinking. That’s exactly what the story criticizes. No one deserves that treatment. That’s the point. Joel was seen as an unrepentant monster by Abby until she realized that torturing Joel brought her no peace. The through line between the game is that the only thing that gives life meaning is connection. Not closing yourself off and living on auto-pilot. Not falling into savagery in some endless war. Only truly connecting with other people is the cure for mankind. That is the last of us when all else is lost.

Yeah, I've had to unfollow certain YT channels because it is clear that the only kind of videos they create are negative. Feeding that negativity trend is easy for increased viewership. Like nothing can be positive, everything is woke, and if they are proven wrong on something, they simply don't cover it.
