Kisuke is the type of person who would do anything for the greater good. It's already been established that. Like how he was part of the "Minority Report" type of organisation in the Soul Society. Like how he gave Mayuri a platform to do all the things he does and like how he played with the lives of Ichigo and Rukia back in the Soul Society arc. Plus from the conversations he had with Aizen, it's easy to derive the fact that Kisuke would be willing to let Ichigo and co die if it means he can maintain the status quo. Also Yhwach now has all the memories, abilities and experience of the dead Quincies. So he has Gremmy's visionary power so that's how he was able to get his voice back. Uryu was always strong. Remember the Sanrei gloves he used back in the Soul Society arc? That glove is said to help you get to the peak of one's powers. Uryu was able to one shot Mayuri's Bankai, the same Mayuri who hasn't lost to anyone else. Ever since Uryu got his powers back he seemed weak but we got a clue from Quilge Opie (Sternritter J) that that shouldn't be the case. So one can infer that Ryuken didn't help Uryu fully to restore his powers. Plus Yhwach also said that Uryu was able to escape his Auswhalen without any problems indicating a greater power hidden within Uryu. Yhwach also gave Uryu the same letter A as himself to fully awaken his powers meaning he's much stronger than he used to be before. So he can take on a Squad 0 member.

#SundayRundown #Bleach - If you remember last ep Yhwach stated during the flashback conversation with Ichibe that he can feel all the pain and memories of the people (quincies) who died, well now you all have witnessed Auswahlen 1st hand and can see how he willingly stripped so many quincies of not just their powers but also their very souls for his own gain. So now you can question his motivation and whether or not his words can be trusted.

It is hinted that Giselle* is a necrophiliac in the manga, and a wild line was was cut off of the show. Yumichika from squad 11 basically called them out due to “smell of jizz”. It might not the exact translation since there have been multiple English translations and parodies but it was wild !!

#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW Well, this is awkward as not only has no one ever separated this episode with the next one (at least until this past week by Nicholas Light) since this is only the first half of Cour 2’s finale but also my breakdown summary was mainly for the next episode, except for this part- Names hold meaning which give rise to power. The most ancient Zanpakuto Shikai: Ichimonji (“Straight Line /One Written Character") It’s sealed form takes the form of a large calligraphy brush, which Ichibe uses to write calligraphic characters. Here’s it’s used to conceal the Soul King Palace through its Ink Manipulation. It has ink based spiritual powers, allowing Ichibe to manifest written characters that carry the power of their meaning. All of the abilities we seen is the episodes is anime original. An in depth breakdown of this episode in regards to Yhwach’s incantation for the Auswählen will be done for Ep 28 when more complete info is revealed.

Bleach TYBW Episode 25- The Master Keyword Page 1: Visored (“Masked Army”) “A group of people who have been Hollowfied, which exceeds the limiting strength of a Soul Reaper’s Soul and have acquired the abilities of Hollows. The group is made up of 8 former 13 Court Guard Squads’ seat officers and a member of the Kidō Corp: Shinji Hirako, Hiyori Sarugaki, Kensei Muguruma, Mashiro Kuna, Lisa Yadōmaru, Love Aikawa, Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi and Hachigen Ushōda.  Having been turned into Hollows by Sosuke Aizen’s cunning plan, they managed to survive and hide in the world of the living thanks to the help of Kisuke Urahara with the Hogyoku (Crumbling Orb). After the battle with Aizen, they have decided to either return to the Seireitei or remain in the World of the Living, according to their own judgment.” Episode 25 Keyword Page 2: The Womb (“The Cage of Life”) “The ‘Cage of Life’ (Also known as ‘The Tree of Life’) is created by Squad Zero’s Kirio Hikifune. Hikifune feeds her own Reiatsu to the Tree of Life, which is born from her palm, and nurtures it, trapping the enemy in a cage shaped like a birdcage. Even if they try to destroy it by attacking with Reiatsu, the tree of life grows using the Reiatsu as nourishment and is quickly restored. For the Quincies, whose source of power is to concentrate and manipulate the Reishi (spirit particles) around them, escaping from the cage with their inherent power is useless.”

He didn't use anyone's ability to give his voice back that was his own ability. Yhwachs most basic ability from when he was a baby is to grant and take power which allowed him to do miraculous things like regrow people's limbs and cure incurable diseases.

Castiel_01x

He can't grant himself powers though. He can grant others with benefits and such. Or am I wrong?

Yuha last episode: Death is disgusting and should not exist Yuha this episode: Fuck all your lives I need that shit now

#SundayRundown #BLEACH Yhwach did Auswählen back in the day to regain his strength, but it didn't automatically kill everyone like it's doing now. Ishida's mom just had a frail constitution, so when her power left her, she couldn't handle the strain and died. Ichigo's mom would have lived, if not for the fact that she was fighting Grand Fisher when her power was taken. Ishida himself wasn't affected by Auswählen, for reasons we don't know yet, but Chris is right. He DID drink Yhwach's blood, which means he's in the same position as everyone else.

Allan Jacob

Right, thanks ! I get them confused sometimes.

Meh

I just love how offended Chris got at the thought of Yoruichi dieing XD

It's cool you can see some parallels between yhwach and aizen here, where both are charismatic in their own way to garner a loyal force, however at some point you see their underlings are ultimately a means to an end for them, and will be sacrificed the moment it benefits the goal of reaching the soul king. They preach about their ambitions any chance they get, however you can see they eventually show the selfishness of their character, which imo makes for a great villian moment.

penguin299

SPOILERS DON'T READ (Yes Suraj, I'm looking at you, stop it). Katagiri being sick accelerated the process but it does eventually kill everyone. Auswahlen causes a small silver blood clot to form in the bloodstream that will eventually cause a heart attack. It's the same silver that Uryu uses to ultimately end Yhwach. It seems some of the weaker quincies though were killed immediately by the strength of the light itself, not necessarily cause of Auswahlen stealing their powers. No official reason was ever given, but my head canon has always been that Ryuken would have conducted surgery to remove that clot from Uryu before it could kill him after conducting Katagiri's autopsy. We might get more info on that from cour 4 tho. Some Quincies do just seem to be somehow immune? Bazz B, Liltotto, and Giselle all seem to keep at least some of their powers.

penguin299

You aren't entirely wrong, but also, Auswhalen hadn't happened yet when he gave himself his voice back. He also wouldn't need to pierce his throat to use Visionary and he never uses the exact powers of any of the dead quincies. Presumably, he takes in their spirit energy, not necessarily their exact abilities.

#SundayRundown Bleach I assume everyone is gonna do it but here is my explanation of Askin’s ability. Askin Nakk Le Vaar. Schrift: The Death Dealing. He has control over the concept of the lethal dose. The lethal dose is the amount at which any substance becomes toxic or fatal to the individual. Askin can lower that amount at will, for that he must ingest said substance and the more he ingests the more he can lower it. Example. Let’s say the lethal amount of water is 16 cups a day, if Askin drinks a bunch of water he can make it so that the lethal dose is 3 cups of water. Now the catch is that one cannot survive without drinking at least 5 cups a day. That was the trick he used on Oetsu with his blood. It is an extremely dangerous ability and because of his personality and intelligence Askin brings out all of its potential. Also regarding the episode, half of it is anime original. Uryu never fights Senjumaru or Jugram never duels Tenjiro. Regarding Ichibei’s power, is as broken as it sounds. In Bleach the core of the power system relies in names, here giving or having a name bestows power so him having an authority over these really makes him the God of Bleach. If you remember, it was stated that he named every phenomenon that occurred in the Soul society and he’s so ancient that his knowledge and battle experience make him a true monster.

There’s also no way of knowing whether or not The Visionary is granted by Yhwach or is a part of THAT after reading CFYOW. There’s still speculation regarding that.

Penguin What’s your email so I can send something on Rundown?

#SundayRundown In the manga, Robert Accutrone (Walter White Quincy) was the last letter of the Sternritter alphabet revealed being “N” right before the Auswählen killed him although nobody knows what “N” stands for but there is another Sternritter with no letter revealed in the entirety of the original manga. I imagine you might not have remembered Shaz Domino who appeared briefly in the 1st Invasion was somebody who almost killed Akon right before Ichigo came to the Soul Society and easily dealt with him before he could reveal his letter. Here’s the clip: https://youtu.be/Au6m6hqoLDk?si=Gii0WDjPMxkhjsq7 Seeing as how we don’t know what his letter was even after every letter of the alphabet was filled in, he was most likely forgotten about until the writer for CFYOW wrote in a backstory for him which was approved by Kubo: https://youtube.com/shorts/hi797ywU2eE?si=EZE-n0O5L_F1bN32

Step B.

#SundayRundown - Urahara would absolutely send people ahead as a diversion for time. Yall forget he was in charge of the Maggot’s Nest before becoming a captain; basically the place they throw people who could be a problem for the Soul Society even if they haven’t committed any crimes. This is also where he retrieved Mayuri from and convinced him to work with him so 🤣. Also Hiyori was Urahara’s lieutenant for 10 years before he and the rest got exiled from the Soul Society so if anybody knows what he’s like it’d be her

Adan Guzman

Just so you guys know, back then manga readers pronounced Yhwach’s name as YU-HA for short instead of YU-HA-BA-HA so feel free to do the same. I get a laugh every time one of y’all still say Yuha BaWA 😅

Castiel_01x

That's true, penguin. That's the only thing I was a bit confused about. Also, you can tell the normies more about Ichibe's powers, as I did not want to do it because my comment was already too big.

Psi47

No Suraj, Ichibei isnt just talking for the sake of trying to sound cool lol he can literally cut through your name, because in Bleach a name is the metaphysical representation of who you are, therefore by cutting it in half you lose half of what you are and thus your powers and strength are reduced to half of what they were.

Masked Void

[Tidbits & Thoughts] - I really enjoy some of the underlying aspects of this fight. A key one is the theme of Names, which is very important down the line, but it starts here. We already know that Ichibei has governance over names. In Bleach Names are everything, from names, purpose is derived. Yhwach, as we know is named in a manner that refers to God. In this episode we see Ichibei strip the voice of Yhwach, in other words, he's a person capable of taking from God, and Yhwach responds by proving his position as a God by giving himself a voice. A God is one who can give or take things at will and we see that on display here. Ichibei has power over names, and all things have names. - The fight sequences between Uryu/Hascwalth and the 0 squad was never in the manga - We saw at the beginning of the Series that Urahara is not above using people to see his goals through, so Hiyori's questions towards him are very poignant and likely in some way shape, or form true. - The DeathDealing allows Askin to calculate the "perfect lethal dose" or the amount of something that will cause death of any substance he takes into his body. He can then raise or lower that value as he sees fit, inducing a lethal dosage of that substance in those around them. (By drinking his Blood He can make blood lethal) - We see that Ichibei seems to relish in the idea of killing Yhwach, further expressing that He isn't some sort of figure of justice. - We now know why the Quincy Robert [Glasses Quincy with a gun] Was so afraid of not being brought up top. Unlike many of the other Sternritter, he's older and knows the cruelty of Yhwach. They removed his scene in this episode where he was freaking out and explaining what was going to happen. - The Auschwallen in my opinion seems to be an obvious Perversion of the Christian concept of "The Rapture"

Shockzz1234

Also he hid his piece of the Hogyoku in Rukia without telling her and then, without telling Ichigo and co, sent them to Soul Society after it lol. He's not above doing some sneaky things, him and Shunsui both.

Shockzz1234

For once, i think this actually wasn't stated in CFYOW! Maybe. I'm not done with CFYOW yet. But i know there was a little mini story called Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow., which features Shaz vs a certain someone as that certain someone protects Central 46 from Shaz. That's where i first read his backstory and who he really was etc. Actually, i lowkey hope they adapt it or at least parts of it in cour 4.

Shockzz1234

Yes Ishida isn't affected by the Auswahlen btw. Why that is, we don't know yet. But it was basically the whole reason Yhwach sought him out, recruited him and made him his successor. Probably not because he's nice though, probably because he thought "wait, what? Someone isn't affected by that? Well i'm gonna recruit him myself and give him a position close to me, therefore i can keep direct eyes on him....because what the fuck man, you ain't supposed to be immune to that shit" lol.

#SundayRundown - Bleach The anime actually cut out a scene from the manga which had “Walter White” Robert Accutrone do a speech to Liltotto about how Yhwach deemed the lower Quincy useless to not take up to the Royal Palace with him. This is why the anime added a scene of how he yelled to Byakuya that he desperately needed to go up there. For some reason, the anime also cut out his schrift letter reveal which is “N” although to this day, we never find out what it stands for. If you look at the original chapter, they even made him do the same worried faces he made to Byakuya. https://w27.bleach.live/manga/bleach-chapter-603/ Here’s original Twitter “death art” of all the Auswählen victims: Nanana, Meninas, Candice, and Robert. https://x.com/tite_official/status/1708134612092723467?s=46&t=wO-da0wEVrXIT_GlznBwjQ

Gremmy Thoumeaux

You are correct. “Beginning of the Revive of Tomorrow” was featured in the databook “13 BLADEs” BUT it is written by the same author who later wrote CFYOW, Ryōgo Narita. He is great at expanding the universe of Bleach and tying up some loose ends the manga had. I also hope to see his works adapted in the future.

Unstablebeast

Dont forget he can also increase what the lethal dose, making what would be fatal to him no longer fatal

#SundayRundown #Bleach So remember that Yuha is the father of quincies, his blood is literally in all the quincies today including Ichigo. So escentially if you are a quincy, you are blood bound to Yuha whether you like or not. When they become Sternritter they gain extra powers because they drink his blood directly like we saw with Uryu. So you could say some sternritter and quincies follow Yuha mainly because they have no other choice or out of fear like As Nodt. You will find out more about this theme eventually. So if you see it from Yuha's perspective he feels entitled to take their powers and let them die because it is actually his power since it originates from him. So when you ask why does he do it? Well Yuha is like "its my power to begin with I can do what I want with it even if you die."
