Dante Sparda

The war between Junior and Tony has begun, which is why many people dislike the last episode, finding it out of place. Pussy is definitely suspicious and isn't making things easier for Tony by not being more forthcoming about his problems especially lying about staying away from heat on doctors orders which is strange since heat has been used to treat back pain since Ancient Greece. Mikey is also a hypocrite for calling Tony out for discussing the business with a shrink when he himself is talking to his wife about Junior moving in on Tony, which violates the Omertà. Although everyone talks to their wives or girlfriends about the business, they technically shouldn’t. Also, Pussy's nickname comes from his past as a cat burglar.

Can somebody please explain why the uncuts are done the way they are? Why doesn't it just start at the beginning of the scene? Why is it at a random point well into the opening scene? This is a regular occurrence, and I'm struggling to understand the reasoning behind it.

Sunday Rundown explains this. When we skip the intro while we are watching since it's the first thing we see and there is no cold open, we skip the intro to save time. That is why you see the first frame of the start of the episode instead of the intro because we don't watch the intro ever time.
