Great reactions guys ... Here are somethings that the animation did not clarify. The ant king have the same ability as Jinwoo . He can get stronger via eating. The ant king can take memories talent power and skills of anyone or anything he eats. In essence he can level up infinitely as long as he eats. Thats the reason why he ate the queen to get her power and memories so he will know what happen to her. With the queens memory he found out CHA was the finisher and he took her out first. He did not kill them instantly because he wants them to suffer . Remember he ALWAYS ALWAYS go for the head

to explain the delay that the anime didn't make clear. there is a 10 min delay, and no he only had shadows only on the korean hunters and Goto ryuji himself(not really clear if he placed a shadow on Goto or he just meant that Goto can't sense him placing shadows). he cannot see what his shadows see yet. the only way to know when things go wrong is if the shadows were killed there is a likelihood that the shadow on Goto was also killed and that is when he knew. the anime may have taken liberties with jin woo sensing that the shadows were activated.

jin woo can sense when shadows die , so when he sensed the one he had on goto had died he knew something bad was happening since goto is the strongest one there, he was totally fine with some of the other hunters dying tho thats whats so funny

Remember the Ant King in the last episode when for the healer first, this time it was only because of stealth that Byung-Gyu survive the first few minutes. Also, I don't think the Ant King understood human speech prior to eating Byung-Gyu's head. Also, I do believe Jinwoo was watching the raid on TV, so he came as soon as he notice they were in trouble, after the 10 min delay. I'm not sure how much he can sense with his shadows attach to his allies, for right now he can only switch places with them with the exchange skill.

a couple of things. The reason Jin Woo didnt show up sooner is cause he only had shadows on Cha, Choi, Yoonho, Goto & the chairman. So he wouldnt know something was off until goto died. also a clarification because a lot of character moments are left out of the anime as compared to manwha and novel. The energy Goto sensed was death, Jin woo when he sparred was about to kill Goto before they stopped. He was actually visibly shaking, sweating, and frightened after the fight. So when the ant king was about to kill him he felt the feeling he felt back then of being about to die which hes never felt before because hes so strong. As far as what I mean by character being left out, in the manwha the Japanese hunters are dicks. They constantly look down on the korean hunters and disrespect them. While its sorta hinted at in the anime its more portrayed as slightly cocky rather than how malicious it is in manwha.

Don't remember if it happened in the web comic or not, but Ma saying "We've got a healer on our side" had no impact on the Ant King finding Byung-gu. What I mean by that is the Ant King didn't understand Korean when Ma said what he said. It was only after he killed and ate Byung-gu's head he was able to understand and speak Korean. Same thing in his encounter with Goto. Goto understood him because of the Japanese S-ranks the ant killed and ate, so he gained their knowledge, abilities, and language. So the Ant King would have found Byung-gu fairly quickly because he would have noticed his specific mana traces (which he was already searching for considering he saw Ma's arms had grown back). Also, my theory of Jinwoo showing up late wasn't because of the 10 minute delay. His shadows popped out at the last second because that was the exact moment Goto was killed. When Goto died, the shadow Jinwoo had placed on him died with him. With Goto dead (who, mentioned by Jinwoo in the web comic, was the strongest hunter in the raid party by far), Jinwoo realized he had to get there immediately because, from his viewpoint, the surviving hunters wouldn't stand a chance against whatever killed Goto.

Cliffhangers for life!! Seriously cannot wait for your reaction to the next episode. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. BTW the delay made the difference. It was only when Goto got attacked that he sensed something wrong I guess, hence why he didn't join earlier. BTW this ant seems to be evolving because when it ate the queen it knew exactly who dealt the death blow and who to go after. It didn't even attack the camera man.

This was always the plan for Japan to abandon the Korean hunters in the hive. We should have learned this when they were first introduced. Many fans were concerned about the censorship considering a Japanese studio is adapting a story where Japan is the villain. It would be just like Hollywood making a Middle Eastern movie where America is the villain. As you already heard, the show has almost never said they were in Korea. However, the Japanese broadcast of the show goes a step further as they changed all the names into Japanese names. So the Japanese voice actors did two takes. One for the Japanese names that will air on their television. And another one for the correct names that went out to everywhere else.

Meh this show is kinda mid tbh, kinda fun the first time but then the lack of any actual substance kills rewatchability. Can't wait for them to finish this and watch something good instead, like Kill La Kill.

Btw the 10 min delay did effect jin-woo he would’ve pulled up the min the ant king arrived into the picture and seen his pressance change everything off that alone he would’ve pulled up but yes the 10 min delay was n effect as he was watching like everyone else and only saw them all n danger 10 min after everything hence him showing up after they took damage
