#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW In the manga, this was only 2 and a half chapters as the same pacing of a NewGen anime yet 12 mins as about half of it was a completely anime original fight of the built up, much anticipated & long-awaited Ichigo Vs Uryu which was not shown in the manga, we didn’t even believe that Uryu had truly convinced himself, let alone us, that he really betrayed everyone & joined up with his people, but after killing a Squad 0 member in the form of Senjumaru and now revealing his very own Vollständig/Voll Stern Dich + blasting a hole through a conflicted Ichigo, and even now all we know and can provide about it is that his strongest ability at the end “Sternenstaub” = Stardust. It’s pretty much officially convinced that he’s on their side as a True Quincy, although the subtle foreshadowing even just through him simply staring at Hashwalth is another story yet to be told. Needless to say, they completely cooked with this adaptation, 30/50+ EPs in so far and since it was just mostly an action packed episode, all I have left to say is the lyrics to the theme 🔥“The Fire/1106 TYBW Ch United”🔥 as the new Bleach national anthem which started playing as Ichigo and Uryu started to fight- “Everything's stayed but I'm not what I think i should be I woke up this morning and changes have come under me My physical me is not what I expected to see Perhaps its a dream or my mind's playing tricks upon me” “Now I see past me, and more, I suspect that something's wrong… GO TO HELL! If forever I must be… trapped inside what isn't me, GO TO HELL!” Previously used when Yamamoto Overcooked the Overkill Quincy in Ep 5 that killed his Lieutenant, then at the beginning of Ep 7 showing the original Gotei 13, then much later in Ep 16 when Soi Fon & Toshiro regained their Bankais getting there get back and lastly when Mayuri started fighting Giselle in Ep 22 being an MVP. For those that know if foreshadows what’s to come in the future. End of the episode was the birth of the strongest, most broken being that has & will have ever existed in the history of the big3. Sidenote: When you guys read this, a teaser trailer or at least new key visual should be out for the next and final part from anime expo.

Bleach TYBW Episode 30- “The Betrayer” Keyword Page 1: Sankotsuno-Jufu (“Three-Bone Tailsmans”) “A sealing talisman tag used by Yoruichi Shihōin to keep the dying Soul King alive. There are three types of cards, each designed to resemble a stake on a beast's body: fangs, horns and a beak. The ‘Chizeimon’ (‘Earth Biting Gate’) is said to contain the power of a fang that digs into the earth and spits fire, the ‘Kōzanmon’ (‘Mountain Opening Gate’) is said to contain the power of a horn that drills holes in mountains and makes them tremble, and the ‘Tesshinmon’ (‘Iron Beak Gate’) is said to contain the power of a beak that pierces the sky and brings rain.” Episode 30 Keyword Page 2: Ganju Shiba “The second son of the Shiba family, which is one of the former Five Great Noble Families. His elder brother was a former lieutenant of the 13th Squad Division of the 13 Court Guard Squads, Kaien Shiba, and his elder sister is Kūkaku Shiba, the best fireworks maker in Rukongai (‘Wandering Soul City’). He became a Soul Reaper hater after the death of his brother, but after meeting Ichigo Kurosaki and helping him retrieve Rukia Kuchiki, he became involved with Soul Reapers once more. He fights using his Seppa (‘Stone Wave’) ability, which turns walls and ground into sand, as well as firework balls passed down through the Shiba family. He rides a giant boar named Bonnie as his means of transportation. He is the self-proclaimed ‘Crimson Bullet of West Rukongai’, ‘Number One Person to Call ‘Aniki’ (Big Bro) in West Rukongai for 14 Consecutive Years’, ‘The Biggest Soul Reaper Hater in West Rukongai’ and ‘The Man Who Knows Soul King’s Palace Better Than Anyone’.”

This fight between Ichigo and Uryu doesn't happen in the manga . It's an anime exclusive fight that Kubo added as new material to improve the arc for the anime

Tyrik Taylor

Lol Pat, nah bro he dead 😂

#Sunday Rundown Keep in mind that throughout the entire manga, Uryu never had a Vollständig (Holy Form) nor did he have a full on fight with Ichigo. Goes to show how passionate the team behind the anime is about the source material to add all this extra content and lore. If anime onlys are this excited, imagine how the manga readers felt seeing the anime improve so much on the source material.

#SundayRundown … time to throw out all of last weeks comments and theories, as now you see Yhwach has absorbed the soul king . MEANING , his almighty also upgraded as you see by the flash of extra pupils and eyes … this means a limb of the soul king no longer can evade his all seeing eyes . And elminates the loop hole of his eyes . Not only that, I recall Uryu being disrespected in saying he beat senjumaru weirdly and flukish,,,, Well Add Ichigo to that list that already had Mayuri on it … what does that give you? The most impressive body count up til this point not counting Aizen bodying everybody … to have Senjumaru Mayuri and the MC Ichigo on yo body count list is IMPRESSIVE …. RESPECT IS MANDATORY…. He wasn’t selected as successor for nothing although Jugram knows the true reason (explained in manga by this point already) …. We say ichigo held back.,, who’s to say Uryu didn’t as well… something to think about .

Castiel_01x

I'm sorry Chris but there are several female characters that are better than Yoruichi in Bleach in terms of writing. Also Chris is right about the differences in the goals between Aizen and Yhwach. While Yhwach is everything that Aizen wants to be there are clear differences in their ideology. Also Suraj is right that The Soul King does not reside in Mimihagi like Yhwach said as it's Ukitake who was trying to defend the Soul King.

SilentCilantro

Yeah... based on the manga, a lot of people are going to have their Trypophobia triggered in these next episodes

#SundayRundown #BLEACH When I first got to the part where Yhwach reaches the Royal Palace, and unveils his Royal Guard, and I figured this was going to be the end, I thought of how cool it would be to have each of the Squad 0-trained soul reapers, plus Chad and Orihime, team up with each of Squad 0, and for those to be the final fights. I was imagining- Chad + Kirinji vs. Askin Orihime + Kirio vs. Pernida Byakuya + Oetsu vs. Lille Rukia + Ichibe vs. Haschwalth Renji + Senjumaru vs. Gerard This is naturally before I understood just how wacky everyone's power-scaling was, but that's how BADLY I wanted Chad and Orihime to have improved. 😭 Then of course, Ichigo would fight Mr. Baja, and when all hope seemed lost, Ishida would reveal his gambit and fight alongside Ichigo to defeat the Quincy lord once and for all. Needless to say, just like y'all, I was dumbfounded by how much further this plot went! Oh. Chris calling Yoruichi a scrub is adorable. Listen, I know you got goldfish-brain, so let me help you. Like Ukitake, Kyouraku, Yamamoto, and several others, Yoruichi rarely gets into fights to begin with. In fact, she only had two brawls for the entire series - defeating Soi Fon and whoopin' Yammy's ass - before going up against Aizen alongside Urahara and Isshin; all 3 of them getting dusted. Are they all scrubs? I mean, just like Yoruichi, Urahara gets an arrow in the back after thinking he killed Quilge, before getting rescued by Grimmjow, and other than that, the only other fight he's had is with Yammy and ✨WONDERWEISS MARGELA✨, who both dipped before he could defeat them. We've never seen this man win a single fight! So if Yoruichi's a scrub, I guess that makes Urahara a little bitch-boy, huh? Go ahead, say it. Say it, you coward! ...Love ya' Chris. ✌🏽

trappa

you guys missed an end credit by the way but great reaction none the less

Dragon Puncher

Yoruichi did get her ass kicked by Aizen, but we let that one slide.

Nabeshin

Getting your ass kicked by Aizen is no knock against you. 😆

Kuro

I know this won't make it to the #SundaySundown but at 11:41 when Suraj said Sasuke vs Naruto, can someone reward this man for being half right as Uryu's JP voice actor is Noriaki Sugiyama who voices the Japanese voice for Sasuke

TkOHarley Museum

SUNDAY RUNDOWN I would like to ask some questions that may help you think about certain aspects that you didn't before. How do you think the Soul King ended up delimbed inside a crystal? Why do you think Aizen was so disgusted by the soul king? (Back when he was being sealed he yelled at Urahara "Why do you not take action? How can you stand to submit to that thing!?") Considering your answers to the above two questions, why do you think Ywach was suprised to see the Soul King assisting the Soul Reapers? Finally, do you know what the difference between Rukia's bankai and shikai is? And when did you first see her use Bankai?

Blank Brain

they didnt the uncut just ended very early

trappa

ah i see ok then

#SundayRundown Bleach The long awaited Uryu vs Ichigo is here and this fight is also anime exclusive. In the manga this was teased over and over but never occurred so it finally happening in the anime was a great W on their part. Now, in this episode you can see Ichigo using his Quincy abilities, first he used but vein to reject Yuha’s control, then he used it to block Uryu’s arrow. After the first reveal, Ichigo never used his Quincy powers in the manga again so this was another great addition. And give Chad, Ganju and Orihime some praise, they are incredibly weak compared to their opponents, some of them being almost immortal, and still had the courage to confront them and almost managed to get rid of them. Finally the elephant in the room, Uryu winning the fight. Regardless of what you may think Uryu winning not only makes sense, it was the only possible outcome at this point in the story; I’m gonna be very vague but in my opinion only 5 characters in the series could defeat full power Uryu. Leaving that aside, in the battle Ichigo is shown not wanting to fight and pulling his punches, also he was tired from his previous battle and was caught off-guard by Uryu’s sudden increase in power and his new abilities. Regarding Ukitake and Mimihagi, in the manga Yuha absorb Mimihagi and Ukitake dropped dead but in the anime he only ripp it apart and did nothing else so his fate is still not clear.

Bobson Dugnutt

I love Uryus shocked expression when Ichigo blocks his arrow with Blut Vene. This is the moment Uryu discovers Ichigo is also a Quincy! (please send this, penguin)

Meh

Fun-ish fact since you metioned it. Uryuu, and Sasuke have the same Japanese VA

Shockzz1234

So Ichigo was gonna activate his Bankai here, right? Like right before Uryu shot him? That's the impression i got anyway. But Uryu shot him before he could do it. Also i always lowkey hate it when Orihime is grouped with Chad and Ganju lol. Orihime is actually leagues above them ability wise, she's probably the 2nd most busted one there in the group only behind Ichigo himself, but she's just not a fighter unfortunately. But neither of them are getting even close to breaking through Orihime's shields.

Shockzz1234

Lmfao the last question killed me.

nothing

Highly unlikely. Mild spoilers for later, but that's not the stance he assumes when he activates his Bankai. He didn't even want to hurt Uryuu, let alone kill him.

Shockzz1234

Honestly couldn't believe we didn't get the fight between them when i read the series....over a decade ago now? Wow time flies. But yeah, it was INCREDIBLY annoying lmao. God bless the anime.

Shockzz1234

The Fire/1106 TYBW Ch United might genuinely be my favourite of all the TYBW tracks.

Shockzz1234

Ohhh rather than Bankai, i meant the uhhh....other form. It looks like he activates it by touching the tips of his two swords, which I assumed is what he was gonna do here (cross them over and bring them down in front of him with tips touching, but Uryu struck him before he could do the latter). It's not the exact same pose, but eh. But yeah, i could definitely be wrong, i'm just speculating and making discussion lol.

nothing

Ichigo 100% missed Uryuu with that Juujisho. I mean, think about it. A post awakened and Auswahlen Yhwach got completely blasted by it whilst he had Zankt Zwinger activated (a weaker version required Yamamoto to activate one of his bankai abilities to counteract it.) Naturally, Ichigo was concerned he might kill Uryuu with it. You'll find out what level Ichigo is at later, but he's definitely no slouch even in this base form. Also don't say Yoruichi is a scrub, she's literally up against elite tiers here 😂the others unfortunately kind of are, and that's okay.

nothing

Aizen's ideology was never revealed about what he wanted to do, but there are context clues from which we can pretty accurately guess. He DID want to do what Yhwach has accomplished so far, as in kill the 0th squad and then the SK. He was disgusted by the existence of the SK. "Why do you subjugate yourself to that thing?" he said to Urahara. He also killed Central 46 and expressed a brand of spite towards them all the way through. His speech about Gods can also give us glimpses into his mind. His speech was all about bring God and nobody having attempted to taking that seat before himself. It was also about fear and evolution, and why that's needed. Let's not forget how the first thing he did with the Hogyoku was creating arrancars, shinigamified Hollows. Taking all of this into account, I think he was gonna kill the SK and then either absorb his power or imitate it with the Hogyoku's help. Most likely imitate it, but create his own brand new essence of divine power. He would then design a system, through an external power source, or a different way that the 3 worlds are divided, so that no being would be necessary to maintain the balance. It would just be there. Maybe he'd subjugate the dimensional energy of the Soul Palace or the precipice world, so those alone can keep the balance. At the same time he'd change the world's designs, so that accessibility between different dimensions would be far easier to do so. This is where his ideology about fear comes in. He believes that fear is needed for evolution. By making easy access from hueco mundo to the SS and vice versa, he'd design a pattern that would necessitate the worlds to keep fearing each other and evolve over time. He clearly wanted to keep people alive, as he avoided killing anyone but Yamamoto in the final fight, and also thanked Yama for "saving my world". This suggests, that he's fully okay with the World of the Living existing as it is. In fact, I think he would also make easier access to there, because undoubtedly he respects Ichigo despite him being a human. He sees their potential, then there are the Fullbringers too. He'd want them to evolve the same way. He'd encourage everyone to do this. Otherwise, as far as for himself, it's quite clear he'd want to make himself the definitive God of this multiverse. His final speech in SS speech alone clarified this. But he thought the SK was pathetic, because he had no dominion over the rules and events of the worlds. In his eyes, that is just a pretend God. "That's an argument only a loser would make! A victor must speak of the world as it should be, not how it currently is!" Not only is he putting himself in the position of the victor, but he's also saying he wants to actively change the world, because he sees how flawed it is. That's why he hates the SK. To him, the SK is a prime example of a loser. Had the power to change it all, still allowed circumstances to dictate his fate and of the world's. So for himself, he wants to be the SK or the God of the universe, but without being crippled and bound. That way, he can do things as he sees fit. Furthermore, given that he created the arrancar and the Visored, and Ichigo, I think he'd make it mandatory practice to hollowfy Soul Reapers, to Shinigamify Hollows, and to hollowfy humans to create Fullbringers. That's evolution right there. He'd already made a near perfect test subject of what hollowfied shinigami can be, in Tosen. Tosen was a step above the Visored clearly. He likely wants to do this to every shinigami that is powerful enough to survive it and those who are worth a damn. So he'd make that happen and make it the norm. Furthermore, he obviously despises politics given his central 46 rants, so he'd erase them out of the picture completely and give the Shinigami all the control over the Seiretei. I mean, only overriden by himself of course. The 0th squad also wouldn't be cooped up like some chickens up there. They'd be his personal bodyguards, but also his henchmen. They'd run most of his errands essentially. I also have a feeling he'd drag his most loyal Espada out of Hell to serve by his side once again. Ulquiorra, Starrk and Szayelaporro would be editions to his squad 0 team. We certainly know that Aizen is no purist or racist unlike Yhwach. He'd also make Ichigo some kind of special person everywhere, like giving him an "overriding everyone's decisions but mine" type of badge. He saw him low key as a son he never had. He cared for him enough to assist and monitor him, and even kinda wanted to lose to him in the end. He also holds him in high regard as his greatest experiment (apart from Hogyoku of course). While it wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows with Aizen, I feel he'd have designed all his plans to cause as little disruption as possible and wouldn't have killed anyone who wasn't necessary to kill in order to execute his plans. On the other hand, Yhwach literally wants to destroy everything and make it all in his own image. That's the difference. And tbh, I had agreed with Aizen, I fully disagree with Yhwach. Yeah your species got the short end of the stick, boohoo. Maybe if you had figured out a way to not erase souls or work with the soul reapers, a lot of it could've been avoided. But he's a purist and so yeah, he'd most likely kill everyone and then redesign the universe so that soul reapers are at the bottom tier. He wouldn't be able to resist it

[Tidbits & Clarifications] - The intent of Yhwach (from what we understand thus far) is to return the world to how it was before the Soul King used "Triplet World". All of the realms or dimensions mentioned so far were once one, therein the concepts of life & Death and the cycles of souls did not exist. There is however a realm the existsed that was never apart of the others and they've only ever mentioned it once and that is "Hell" - A key point to remember is that the Quincy inherently exist in a manner that negatively impacts the balance of the Soul Kings world and he made it that way (as far as we now). This truth plays a large role in why Yhwach and the Quincy would likely never find proper peace. - Visually speaking Uryu’s Vollstandig had one key component that stood out compared to the others, it seems that his began from his eyes. Additionally, he doesn't seem to have a Halo like the others. - This Ichigo vs Uryu battle is an anime original moment. I think the key points to note is that Ichigo refused to even try to kill Uryu and he didn’t use Bankai, but most important was that moment right before the final shot, it looked as if something strange was occurring before Uryu released his final attack. - This episode flashes back to Uryu reading that book under the bridge, interestingly enough fans had already went back to that moment and even here if you pause on the pages you can loosely see the name Adenyus - Sidenote: Thanks to the new editions in this episode, we now know that Ichigo can actually use his Quincy powers at will. (We never see Ichigo intentionally use Blut Vene in the manga)

are you expecting them to read this on SRD? If so, you have to find a way to shorten it.

Denickart

Tbf Yoruichi was getting outclassed in everything but Shunko in her fight with Soi Fon and she did more damage to herself than Yammy since she nearly broke her arm and leg on him and had to be rescued by Kisuke.

Justin Chere

Im just glad we got all these added fights whether it is in the anime or in the manga. One thing I hated about both Ichigo and Uryu in this arc in the manga was that both of the hardly did anything. They just spent thier time running around and hardly fought anybody especially Uryu.

#Bleach #SundayRundown Hey hope this makes it this week it was meant for the last week but I forgot to mark it for Sunday Rundown. So gonna try again. This is where the anime and Kubo are adding so much new content to the point that even manga readers don't know what to expect. So you can imagine how even manga readers are excited for cour 4. A little backstory for what it was like at this point reading the manga with no spoilers for you guys. At the time the manga was very very rushed and Kubo both mentaly and physically was not doing well. This affected the hype and story for TYBW because he had so many great ideas and concepts for TYBW arc but really struggled to write many parts as detalied as he wanted to due to his health. This lead to many scenes and fights that where hype on paper but when you read them they were like done within a page. Which was sad and frustraiting at the time to put it mildly, people where very dissapointed and checked out of the story. And at this point in the manga it was were it surfered the most. If I remember correctly when they announced how many chapters were left for the arc people instantly knew that the story was gonna suffer because of that and knew that Kubo was not going to be able to write the story as he really wanted to. For a lot of people, the parts being adapted for cour 3 and 4 were considered the weakest due to how rushed they were (not all but a lot of parts). So seeing all the new stuff here brought a tear to many fans eyes to see that they were expanding fixing what was there before and with Kubo taking this new opportunity to make the story he made better. So you can imigane why so many longtime fans who have also read the manga are so happy for the anime additions, like cour 4 is said to have about 60% anime original stuff, which for both anime and manga fans is super hype. I hope that makes sense.

Nabeshin

No, she was holding back against Soi Fon the whole time, and Yammy was completely outclassed by her despite his tough skin. She didn't have to be "rescued" by Urahara. That implies she was getting beaten. She simply thought her opponent was down, then got surprised by a sneak attack...which again is exactly what happened to Urahara with Quilge.

Finnick Radian

I had always interpreted that moment as, whatever Ichigo was about to do, he hesitated big-time and gave Uryu the chance to shoot. Maybe he thought he wouldn't actually go that far. I personally don't know about the other stuff but it seemed to me like the emphasis was on his hesitation.

Brian

Why did Suraj react like that when Chris mentioned Japanese dub lol just admit it sounds better

vanaisadrag

best part of the video is the nana shirt

Jay Mack

lol uryu seeing ichigo blut vene for the first time still gets me. Uryu was like “no way this fool is a Quincy.” Uryu known ichigo all these years and in a fight to death finds out ichigo was a Quincy the whole time lol.

Dante Johnson

Aizen's goal was to kill and replace the Soul King. Instead of being a simple figurehead who did nothing but hold up the three worlds or destroy the three worlds to make them whole again, Aizen would rule the three worlds like a king would, meaning Central 46 wouldn't be needed, as it would be Aizen making the new laws and edicts for the Gotei 13. He would put in place a ruler of Heco Mundo. He would more than likely leave the world of the living alone unless something major happened. But that was Aizen's goal. It's pretty simple, really.

Majestic Hero

Hey i just recently became a premium member and for some odd reason episodes 28 and 29 in cour 3 wont play for me. Any idea how to fix that?
