Now more importantly, The “Valley of Screams” that Yoruichi and especially Ichigo had mentioned having been to before is a profound callback to the 1st Bleach Movie: “Memories of Nobody”. Since you guys have already watched that movie, once you finish posting the rest of cour 3 you guys should check out the best and final Bleach movie 4: Hell Verse. On a more lighthearted note, great to see Nelliel back in all amazonian inspired glory, her showing up with her chest hitting and knocking down Grimmjow was surprisingly hilarious as in the manga it seemed like he completely dodged her when she threw herself, this canonically makes more sense as Kubo confirmed she has the biggest rack/assets/melons/cushions in the whole series besides Kirio Hikifune (The Grain & Squad 0 member) Another thing to note is that Orihime got flustered because Kisuke is also the one that gave her booba window outfit and she only agreed to impress Ichigo, but now with Nelliel’s outfit also thanks to him no wonder Orihime got jealous with that competition.

I’m torn on Orihimes outfit. On the one hand I’ve always liked the design of it and in the manga she looks great with the flowing dress and everything, but in the anime it looks crazy at certain angles. Side note I love Nel explaining that the bracelet Urahara gave her lets her switch between her child form and her original form and immediately is just like “I ain’t switching back though” 😂

#SundayRundown #BLEACH Glad you guys remembered the Valley Of Screams from the movie "Memories Of Nobody". It's one of the non-manga concepts Kubo liked so much that he put it into TYBW. Most of the next episode is non-manga as well, but it's not based off of anything, other than Kubo going "This would've been dope, but it never happened. NOW IT IS!" This cour especially is chock-full of anime-only content that is either stuff from the first anime that Kubo went "That's dope! I'm puttin' it in TYBW!" OR stuff that wasn't in the the manga at first, but that Kubo went "I had to leave this on the cutting room floor...but it's dope! I'm puttin' it in TYBW...the anime!"

#SundayRundown TYBW Orihime's outfit is kind of ridiculous considering she is going to battle. What I found more distracting are her breasts, since they are so big now is almost comical. If you go back to the arrancar arc her breast were big, but they were not ridiculously big. If the anime team were to reduced her breast size by 25%, I think it would look better with her current outfit. Also, what is Ganju and Chad think they are going to do against the quincy elites, both of them are scrubs like Hitsugaya. Ichigo should have just let them in that box with Riruka and Yukio.

#Sunday Rundown (Since it's been a while for you, I'll also highlight what you guys said in the reaction) - You talk about how you can accept Soi Fon's outfit being fan-service, since it's not as outrageous as Orihimes. The reason Soi-Fon's outfit is the way it is was actually explained back when she fought Yoruichi. Their backs are exposed because Shunko (Soifons wind thing and Yoruichis lightning thing) blasts the clothes off the back. - Suraj and Pat claim Nel used to have Blue hair, which Navi confidently claims is wrong. Navi is FAKE NEWS. The old anime miscalled her hair blue instead of green. - Rukia used Bankai for the first time against As Nodt. I request that you verbally acknowledge this and say "Rukia never used Bankai until TYBW"

[Tidbits] - Yhwach embodies what it means to be a god, the action of recreating the soul palace is one of pettiness and conceit. It's not meant to be a particular grandiose showcase, it's not simply a measure of his power, rather it's him affirming what he said before: "My name is Ywach. The one who shall take everything from you” What better way to spite the Shinigami than to turn the most revered location they have, (Palace of the Shinigami deity) into a Quincy Empire? The act blatantly symbolizes disrespect and proves that he now sits atop the throne. - The “Valley of Screams” was a concept actually first introduced in the Bleach Film “Memories of Nobody” but this episode/chapters makes the concept and the movie Canon. The Valleys of Screams are pockets of space varying drastically in size. They are composed of souls ejected from the reincarnation cycle and these dimensions reside in the Garganta. Even though the Reiatsu in the Garganta is incredibly unstable, the Valleys of Screams can exist as dimensions of Reishi for because the very structure of their Reishi in these pocket dimensions are different from that of normal Reishi. - Many forget but in “Turn Back the Pendulum” We learned that Lisa Yadomaru(the Vizard girl w/glasses) used to read books to Nanao as a child - Some fans forget that shinigami don’t fly, they travel on air using reishi footholds, with Yhwach having command over the reishi in Wahrwelt, our side won't be able to do it for these upcoming battles. - Renji’s poem is taken from Vol.73 of the manga, It had fans excited because it seems that Renji will get some additional content (This is likely something Kubo had wanted to do given that Renji was the Cover for the Volume) - Sidenote: Captain Ukitake having exceedingly more spiritual than most is a new line and will be important to remember. @Conflictor I'm just as much a fan of those as I am Bleach, and it doesn't come anywhere close. OP fans got worse since it became more mainstream but otherwise are pretty standard on the defense force crap, and HxH fans are pretty varied on their likes and dislikes of the series such that it's pretty common for fans of one arc to dislike a different arc, and they aren't always the same ones. Greed island being a very easy example. Bleach fandom is lockstep. Everything was planned, peak, and perfect.

None of them are wrong about Nel's hair, per se. Her hair was turquoise back then, which you could see as either blue or green. Now it's closer to the green of her old baby outfit, but still lighter.

Nel’s hair was teal back in OG Bleach, a combination of blue and green. Here it’s green so I guess they wanted to change her hair color but I liked it better when it was teal. Also happy birthday to Ichigoat! Was yesterday 7/15 🎈🎉🎂

Personally, i agree that it's both a very bad outfit and also it's a bit silly that they haven't gotten used to it yet. She's had it for 10 episodes (roughly) now. We get it, her tits are out and they're humongous, you don't have to point it out like teens who have never seen boobs before constantly and have full blown discussions about it every time you see it lol. It's not *that* big a deal.

Siofon's outfit is particularly. When using shunko, the fabric on the shoulders and back is completely ripped off, making anything such as an undershirt or even wraps unnecessary. Yoruichi wears the same style in the manga, but the anime was heavily censored when the Bleach anime first came out; they masked, got rid of, and changed many things. It's the reason I want a relaunch of Bleach, but on Hulu, so they can show the true glory of Bleach

Hiitsugaya is a scrub for 95% of the story. Hitsugaya only becomes relevant once he masters his Bankai toward the end of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. Hitsugaya has been a jobber throughout most of the story, and he only wasn't killed off because he was a popular character.
