This episode is historically interesting because of the location and the character of Annalisa. Camorra - the neapolitan mafia - has had a number of powerful woman bosses in it's history. It tends to be less formal and structured than other prominen mafia groups and is therefore more "modern" and "egalitarian". Women have had important roles and leadership positions in other mafias, but only in the camorra have they been equivalent or superior to men as bosses. Annalisa's character most likely takes inspiration from two historical bosses, Erminia Giuliano and Maria Licciardi, the latter being one the most powerful bosses and still active in recent years.

the man at the table that paulie says "buongiorno" to is David Chase, Sopranos creator.

When Tony mentions football season as a reason for not going to the Bahamas, it's because football season is the busiest time for betting, thus it's a busy time for Tony business wise. Fun fact: The gentleman sitting at the cafe that ignores Paulies salutation is series creator David Chase.

Chris, you want to know where you could go and fit in? Brazil. We have the biggest japonese comunity outside Japan, the biggest black population outside Africa, one of the biggest Italian comunity outside Italy, one of the biggest German outside germany, and the list goes on and on... we are just a mix of everything and thats the coolest thing IMO. So yeah, ANYONE of you guys could come live here and no one would really say "you dont look like you belong here" cause everyone can be a brazilian.

Pat is right. Tony cares about his family the most. It's literally the reason he started fainting at the beginning. As for Big Puss, he is only ratting in the first place to take care of his family. He could have fled. They genuinely care for their families. Also, you got the wrong idea. Tony and Carmella have relations way more often than once a year. What she said he does once a year is going down on her, and that might have even been an exaggeration.

#SundayRundown The GOAT Furio Giunta is here! 🗣 🐐 Btw we do love pasta with tomato sauce. It's simple, but in a familiar and wholesome way (spaghetti al pomodoro is one of my all-time fave dishes). The thing is, Paulie asked for GRAVY. That's, like... wtf?? Very insulting request. It's pretty much the same as asking for ketchup to be used as the sauce. And Pat, here there's a common saying: "non c'è cosa più divina che scoparsi la cugina", which translates into "there's nothing more divine than fucking your cousin". It's almost always thrown around as a goliardic joke, tho.

#SundayRundown It's crazy that the actor who played Junior (Dominic Chianese) is still alive and kicking at 94 while James Gandolfini (Tony's actor) passed twelve years ago.
