We actually did see jim’s living space before he got with pam. He had roommates but his room was very clean and tidy. It was in season 2 when he hosted that party and didn’t invite michael and he came anyways.

This episode has some great deleted scenes and bloopers. In one, Jim and Darryl call Toby to be an over-the-phone mediator for their issues and then regret it immediately. And a hilarious blooper of the scene where Pam is interrogating Nate in the warehouse where they all lose it.

I like the last few seasons a little more than most but the out of character moments kinda stick out. Andy is the major one. The “Jim is a slob” thing was kinda out of nowhere cause they needed a plot point. And him being so offended that Darryl brought it up seemed forced. Out of the main cast, Michael and Dwight were the ones who had very strange dispositions. So they were a constant source of plot points and conflicts. With just Dwight, they decided to fill the gap by making Andy an asshole and introduce the senator plotline (the latter of which is pretty good). Then other characters just got weird quirks attached to them. And Brian out of nowhere. That being said, pretty enjoyable episode.

this season is a lot better than I remember so far, the Pam and Brian stuff is a bit cringe since you know it's forced for the sake of drama (I still kinda wanted them to kiss just to spice things up lol)

I was never a fan of season 9, but rewatching it now I’m liking it better than before. Although, it feels like a much different Office than the peak seasons 4-6 I always wished they kept Robert California around until the end, he was one of my favorite additions. I think it would’ve made season 9 much better
