Such a love hate relationship with this one. On the one hand it’s brutal and unrelenting. But on the other it’s edgy and does so many characters dirty.

@eric.na.goo.yen

Oh boy here we go. When I first watched this my jaw was on the floor at how brutally they slaughtered all of them. And in the beginning of the movie too! 💀

Reynaldo Urena

#SundayRundown - Now that you’re done the first arc of the DCAMU, New 52. Are you planning on reacting to the second arc of movies, Tomorrowverse? Also what was your favorite movie of the New 52 arc?

Matthew Richson

The Tomorrowverse, such a mixed bag that one is.

Ksweets

i tried watching the first movie and was so mad about how different everything was i turned it off

Ksweets

this is only technically the first half of the dcamu, this saga would be called The New 52, the 2nd saga being the tomorrowverse, which i could never get into personally, because it is a new universe

All Mighty Lowercase Jay

#SundayRundown #DCAMU - To answer Chris's question Yes, Justice League Dark is very much the canon Supernatural Divison of the Justice League. Also are you guys going to watch the 2nd half of the DCAMU? The Tomorrowverse slate of movies are the continuation of the "reboot"

BT

Holy moly, didnt know DC can go this gory to see some of my hero go down so bloody

Zeee

#SundayRundown - This movie is 90 minutes of “what the fuck” lol. Similar to Infinity War but way deadlier tho lmao. It’s really spilt amongst fans because of how depressing and violent it is but I do think it’s gradually built up to this conclusion & the threat warranted it. You could also view this is an alternate world version of what might’ve happened in Young Justice Season 5 or 6 based off how S4 ended.

Zeee

Yes, it’s on their list they originally posted

GKDreamerTV

I have a complex relationship with this movie. While I didn’t want the universe to end this way, it unfortunately did. It’s a shame that Batman and Catwoman never got their happy ending due to the ‘no kill code’. However, none of that matters since he chose to break the code, only to lose everything and become a killer for Darkseid. Potential This movie was like watching Endgame, except instead of a happy ending, everyone gets a bittersweet one. I’m still shocked that Cyborg never had a full diagnosis of his body parts years before the Battle of Apokolips. Superman should have never rushed to fighting Darkseid and forcing non-killer superheroes to join him. .

GKDreamerTV

Another sundown: someone once told me that the black characters in this movie were mistreated. Cyborg losing his arms and transforming into a vegetable was one of the worst scenes, and John Stewart’s attempt to reach the battery to unlock his full potential only to be killed by a lava pool from the Earth’s core was even worse. Let’s not forget about Batwing either and how he got shot down and didn’t have a parachute 🪂 .

GKDreamerTV

I didn’t even think about young justice season 5 until you reminded me. But the main focus was getting the anti life equation with would’ve also ended most of the heroes

#sunday rundown: Who do you think got the dirtiest? Batgirl and sadly, Zantana were both eaten alive. Shazam, who was still the youngest member of the team, lost his leg and sacrificed his entire body to defeat a whole bunch of paradooms. Damian was burned alive, Starfire being ripped to shreds like Wonder Woman and Mera lost her face. Tell us some of your most memorable and iconic moments from the film.

Jon Mercano

#SundayRundown Can I get a link to this movie list? Idk where to find it on the website, only all the uncuts “Is Oa the lantern place?” Before anything else WATCH THE ANIMATED GREEN LANTERN MOVIES (First Flight and Emeral Knights)!!! And the series Don’t do Beware My Power by itself, it’s part of the Tomorrowverse movies You also gotta get the Justice League shows at some point. John Stewart is the main lantern

Zeee

yup, even the team line ups are similar

Jay

I would be so hyped if yall started covering the Absolute Universe! If you did you should start with Absolute Wonder Woman. It's the first canonically and it's arguably the best out of the Trinity's books but they're all pretty good. I think yall would especially like it as it has a lot to do with DC's magical side which you said yall enjoyed in the reaction. And if yall ever want to check in on the Marvel side of things, they launched their "Ultimate" Universe around the same time which had a similar concept as Absolute. A completely new canon where a villain had won. Ultimate X-Men by Peach Momoko is my favorite comic run in a long time. Very much inspired from Manga and Japanese culture. Both Universe's have been really good and they've only been going for a year or two with monthly issues so it's very easy to get into. Thanks for reading!

Grimm

I liked the superman one but after that yeah the animation downgrade kind of ruined it.

Bert In A Bin

JESUS H CHRIST! this movie immediately goes dark! I didn't think you could be worst than Flashpoint time line, but they did it! Are you happy writers!

Sonicluis

We have to start the tomorrow-vers with super man of tomorrow up until crisis on infinite earth. 10 more movies to go. We still got great DC movies before the shows.

ernel

Great reaction and it is one of the best DC animated movie . I still recommend GREEN LANTERN ANIMATED SERIES and theres one more dc animated movie connected to this movie keep watching.

Michael Cardenas

Absolute Universe is terrific so far. I only got into comics in the last couple years and it’s been a great place to hop in as a new reader. Absolute Wonder Woman and Absolute Martian Manhunter are the best.

Mzuka

#SundayRundown The Serenity Prayer (shown at the start of the movie) is the saying that Barry’s mum told him during Flashpoint Paradox that encapsulated the lesson of the whole movie. It’s basically the phrase that kicked off the universe.

Grimm

#SundayRundown DC animated movies/shows are so underrated. I hope you guys continue watching DC movies or shows. If you do, I do hope you watch the old Justice League animated show or watch The Dark Knight Returns animated movies.

Jhon Doe

Guys Sucife Squad Hell to Pay was rated R it's not that crazy.

Kev2990

It’s amazing that you guys really love these movies. The next set of movies, dubbed as the “Tomorrowverse” are also pretty okay, but unfortunately there are only 10 movies and 5 of them are multi-part movies. My best guess is that whatever plan they had for this universe got cut short when Warner Bros rebooted everything. The biggest evidence is that the box set of these movies were going to spell out “DC Universe” on the spine of them but halfway through, they just gave up on it. However it is a worthwhile watch and is definitely the culmination of entire DCAMU. My personal favorite is the Batman: The Long Halloween

HouseDogget

Chris: John can't catch a break. No truer words have ever been uttered

HouseDogget

As far as another DC thing that ends perfectly. Superman and Louis is one of the best dc shoes ever made. And my adventures with Superman is pretty fun too.

HouseDogget

It is such an interesting run, because they knew ahead of time that they had a certain number of movies they could make before it ended. Probably more misses than hits and the finale doesn't hit as hard. But there's some bangers in that movie run .

Steve Harvey Dent

Till this day after watching reaction over reaction I'll never understand why didn't they put Deadman in this film. He's already dead but he's a spirit. He could have taking over poses Nightwing body and fight the demon inside of Nightwing and he'll be fine, or he could have posed on of the doomsday parademon and help them out. It is what it is. ON TO THE TOMORROW VERSE.

Steve Harvey Dent

Also who had it bad this week the character in vox machina, the lieutenants from bleach, or the heros in this movie?

NICK Luna

Constantine: House of Mystery is next and then the Tomorrowverse.

NICK Luna

House of Mystery 1st then the Tomorrowverse.

Steve Harvey Dent

That's right I forgot there was another movie before this.

Maurice Gray Jr

This movie both traumatized and enthralled me. It was dark and gory, but it did a great job tying all the plotlines from other movies in this timeline. It's my favorite in the whole timeline. My big question though was why Batman with his paranoid self never once thought Cyborg might be a security risk. If he didn't think about the potential for spying, it should have occurred to him that maybe Darkseid could take control of Vic and turn him against them. Bats knew Vic was born from Apokolips tech and never saw a potential problem? Why didn't they call more warriors for the attack team and more heroes for the rearguard? If not an all call to every superhero they knew, they could have at least added Starfire, Etrigan and Wonder Woman's Minotaur Ferdinand to the attack team. Those three knew how to kill. In my opinion, Superman did lead them into a massacre, but Batman and Wonder Woman were complicit in that they didn't think about the potential Cyborg problem and didn't make Superman plan better before they rushed blindly into Apokolips understaffed. The Big Three got everybody killed or cyborged because they didn't think things through.

Maurice Gray Jr

Best last words before dying explosively in an action film "You always WERE an asshole, Gorman!" Vazquez in Aliens OR "Are you SHITTING me?" Boomerang finding out that King Shark could talk the whole time I vote for Captain Boomerang- that was HILARIOUS!

Sanji

Harley saying its time to earn their name is badass too
